i know ive been asking a lot of questions about my sister's party!!!!
im already renting a movie called Sleepover. im not sure they will be watching the movies though. we have a lot to do. but i want different movies for when/if they fall asleep. they will be voting on which movies to play in order. i would like 5 movies of choice, well now 4. they have to be PG. well, they can watch PG-13, with LOW cursing and NO sexual images or anything, lol.

Up till lately I would have said PG is fine but I have been hearing at this age some parents only want their kids watching G movies. Whatever the movie make sure you pass it with the guests parents so save any problems.

"Mean Girls" is rated PG13, and is not appropriate for this age group, it has a fair amount of swearing, and some references to virgins and condoms.
Here are a few age-appropriate suggestions, from the mother of an 11-year-old who loves these movies:
"Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen"
"Princess Diaries II - Royal Engagement"
"What A Girl Wants" (very cute, with Amanda Bynes)
"Ever After"

I know this is an old movie but what about the Princess Bride? I know that I have always loved it and I was able to get my husband, brother, and father to like it. It's a good wholesome movie with fighting and a love story. I know there are probably better suggestions but I thought this might be good.
Good luck and have fun!

My 10 yo daughter says the movie "Sleep Over" is good. "Aquamarine" was cute but it's been out for awhile. Just look for the latest young chick flicks...they are easy to spot at the store.

get a little princess and the secret garden..both are great girly movies ,and I am 18 and love seeing them till this day...they have no sexual images, no cursing, it's pure entertainment, even grandparents could watch and younger children like 3 and you can walk away with no worry.
