how do you copy a video into dvd and be able to play it in a dvd player?

Get a VCR, Get a DVD recorder, Get a TV.
Hook them all up, play the video whilst burning it onto a DVD ^_^

or you could just download it to CD and DVD rip it.

You have to burn the cd first: then play it on the player!
