I have a Great Spinach Dip recipe which is always a hit at a party. Enjoy:

1 block of frozen spinach - wring all water out
1 cup mayonaise (I tend to use Hellmans)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 or 1 package Knorr vegetables or other soup base without any meat or pasta (to taste)

Combine and mix well all ingredients in a container and leave in fridge overnight.

You can eat this with veggies or we like to eat it with pumpernickle bread or crackers.

First, get some fresh baby spinach. Rinse it and dry it in a colander. In a skillet over medium-high heat, pour a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and add some minced garlic (I love a lot, but it's up to you). Just before the garlic browns, throw in the spinach. As it wilts, toss it with tongs until just done. Remove the skillet from the heat and squeeze lemon juice over the spinach (again, it depends on your preference). Throw on some salt and pepper and enjoy as a great side dish. It's very easy, incredibly quick, and tastes light and refreshing.

The best recipe I make is to cook up some diced bacon and pour out most of the grease. Add this to about 8 servings of fresh spinach and top with a vinaigrette made up of 1/2c. vinegar, 1/8c. oil, 1/8c. sugar and 2 tsp. each of salt and pepper. Shake the dressing well and pour over that salad and toss all items together. I could eat this for days!

Are you eating fresh, are you cooking it or what?

I add fresh to salads and use just like lettuce.
I also cook it up in a skillet with some olive oil and garlic.

I love spinach and think it taste just fine. If you don't like the taste of it, why eat it?

Ok, see the VIP (Very Italian reciPe... ;-)) ) First, you should buy fresh entire spinach (and wash and boil them by yourself) and not fresh-prepared ones, in order to avoid preservatives. Instead of this, you can buy them freezed, in cubes, very quick and simple to cook. This what I do: put the freezed cubes (0.3 kg is quite a big portion) in a frying pan with 1 teaspoon of fresh butter and 1 garlic segment, salt; fire slow for about 12 - 15 min and... it's ready to eat! Just at the end, add 1 tablespoon full of parmigiano, or half mozzarella in thin slices, or every cheese you like... Ciao e buon appetito!!

Great as is in salad but it you're looking to cook.... try spreading a 10oz bag on a baking sheet, top with roasted red peppers and a can of artichokes including the juice and top with feta cheese. Bake at 350 for about ten minutes or until spinach just starts to wilt. Yum!

Spinach tastes great all on its own. I like to keep it raw and mix it in with my salad greens. I will occassionally mix it in with soups, wilt it into some pasta, or use it as a pizza topping, but generally I don't care for it cooked.

A little vinegar, and some liberal salt and pepper, if it's steamed. Raw spinach, which I prefer, tastes great with a little Greek salad dressing.

The trick to spinach is not to overcook it. I wilt spinach very quickly in a little olive oil and garlic. It's delicious that way. As soon as it wilts...take it off the heat.
