If I have an electronic device with a battery that uses a DC charger that is 180mA, can I use a different one?

The other charger I would like to use is the same brand, same voltage, frequency and wattage. But the mA (milliamps) is rated higher, it is 250 mA instead of 180 mA.

If I use it, will I damage the battery?

No it will not damage it. It can provide more mA, but your device will only pull what it needs. So yes, it is safe to use.
