I am a catholic. I am tired of all these christians that say all people from Islam will go to hell. Tired of the ones that say "Muslims are Satans servents" Tired of the ones that eventually lead to murder, using our holy book as justice. Tired of the ones that discriminate Buddhists, Jews, and even non believers.

Jesus said even though they may not know about me, if the live by god, (a moral good life) they will be rewarded in heaven.

They are fueled by hatred not by the Lords Words.

Jesus doesn't have to exactly say these same words there are many different bible versions.

And note, the christians that reply trying to prove me wrong, they are steering away from the main point of this Question. What about those Christians that discriminate other races?

That's sad...

I interpreted Jesus words into my own words. The main point is about the Christians that discriminate.

To Miriam, learn to read and spell before you post. You are basically discriminating other races/religions, just like what my question is intended to show. Catholics were the more biased, and discriminate the most, and just because I am not like them you call me un-christian?

I do not believe any christian discriminate on point of race. I do not think Christians should discriminate against people at all you may be catholic but you are not Christian Jesus said I am the truth the life and the way no one comes to the Father accept through me. if you do not believe that and share it with others you are not christian sorry.

I believe that Christians should act with love towards all people. I believe that is the example set for us by Christ. However, Christ said "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me" (John 14:6).

I would like to see the scripture that says "even though they may not know about me, if the live by god, (a moral good life) they will be rewarded in heaven."

i formally apologies for the many hypocritical "Christians" you have happened to come across.

We are very imperfect, only Christ is perfect.

oh and you quote "Jesus said even though they may not know about me, if the live by god, (a moral good life) they will be rewarded in heaven."

where in the bible and or New
Testament does it say you will go to heaven if you live a moral life?

You will only Go to heaven based on how you have responded to the sacrifice of Jesus.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

peace to you

James,

You are mistaken. Jesus never said anything of the sort. I will gladly read any scripture that you can point to that suggests otherwise.

I am not suggesting that it is okay for a Christian to discriminate though.

However, people that do not follow God's plan of salvation will go to Hell. Plain and simple. The groups you mention are typically not following that plan.

A fascinating fact. There are 15,000 religions or sects. and only one of them says that you will not got to hell if you don't follow their religion. Anyone know? Judaism! As long as you keep the 7 Noahide laws which including subcategories is, if I recall 36 actual laws, then you're going to heaven. No racism, no discrimination. If you're looking for purity and closeness to G-d, look toward Judaism. And don't go after the distorted versions, namely reform and conservative. Look into Orthodox, unadulterated tradition from thousands of yrs, ago

"Jesus said even though they may not know about me, if the live by god, (a moral good life) they will be rewarded in heaven."

What verse is that from?

Have you read the first few chapters of Romans?

(They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
(Rom 3:12))

Oh, and

"Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. "

If you don't have Christ, you will not go to heaven.

Amen! My family is very Christian but doesn't always act that way and it baffles me. How can you claim you're a Christian and that you live by Christ's examples, but you admit you have hatred toward other people, whether or not you know them, and you condemn other people for their beliefs because they're different than yours, regardless of how they lead their lives? It's such a hypocrisy!

Christianity, especially Catholics, have a long history of such bigotry. The pope himself has been calling for discrimination against gays. So if you want to spark change, start with your own church.

Where did you get that "bible" quote from??? Jesus said "neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby you must be saved".

Christians generally need scriptural proof. I suggest you cite chapter and verse.
