No way, first off if we had been together for 8 months already and they didn't disclose that information ahead of time so that I could decide from the get go whether or not I want to pursue something further with them then they are not only a pornstar (which I would not want date0 but they are also a liar and that and cheating are not in any way acceptable esp on that magnitude. Furthermore, as I have mentioned earlier, I would not want to date someone from the industry on the basis that I don't want to share my bf (despite whether or not this is purely on the basis of it being 'career-oriented' -- if you can even call it that) and because I don't care how 'safe' the industry claims to be you can never be too certain and I don't want to risk someone Im dating giving me some sort of disease since they are banging for a living...lol...So my answer is NO definitely not...No lying man wh*res for me, thank you : P

If he /she is the love of your life, then does it really matter what they do for a job? Maybe its the shock of discovering that way, maybe the feeling of being decieved for so long, ego bruising.
Id certianly examine my feelings/reactions befor doing anything I may regret later. After all its not every day you find the "love of your life". good luck
