I don't much care for diet plans either: Most that are advertised are unbalanced and unrealistic.

You will want to cut back on junk food and fried food. And eat more vegetables and fruits (fresh and steamed to preserve the nutritional value). And drink lots of water so you won't feel so hungry.

You may even want to have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables around so you can browse when you want a bite. Some research suggests that that's healthier for humans than huge meals less often.

As for exercise, the easiest (and cheapest!) is walking. All you need for that is a good pair of shoes. Park at the far end of a parking lot instead of jockeying for a spot right in front of the stores. And walk wherever you can.

Do you enjoy dancing? Do it! That can burn calories as fast as calisthenics!

There are other exercise programs too, if you need one. Run a search on the internet for one that is good for you.

Good luck!

it is my opinion that diets that exclude any food including fat are dangerous...........remember the saying "slow and steady wins the race"?? don't do no carb diets or anything like that. Make sure you eat 5plus servings of fruit and/or veges a day, and balance the other things....for example, I dont' think that fast food is a no no, just don't eat it for all three meals every day! and for exercise, walk at least 3 times a week, maybe to the supermarket, or if you have kids or a dog, walk them! they love it too! Seriously, if you do it the wrong way, you could have problems like depression or nutrient deficiencies...another saying "all things in moderation"
try this link, it has tips and links and you can actually tailor a plan but this might be for only nz residents...have a look, the links and tips might at least help! good luck
