Absolutely. In reading the papers, she was afraid to eat the food. (no silver platter, I assume) She should be lucky that she was in a cell alone, instead of a lockup with some of her new 'best friends'. Maybe they would be able to trade makeup tips.

Yes. Legally the Judges orders were violated by LA Sheriff Bacca. He can be held in contempt for his actions. This sets a presedent that opens a can of worms for others to use as a defense. Civil rights activists are already on this. Lets hope justice is served and the princess is returned to her cell. Another blatant abuse of the law. This time our system failed. Strangely, had she been quiet taken the sentence she may have been out with no problem. This is now such a media circus and it's blown up in her face. For anyone who wrote Gov Arnold b4 you can be sure he will hear about this now for quite awhile. TY

In a perfect world yes, she played the justice system. Regular people do not have their therapist checking in on them and reporting to the guards. Prison is not camp its not fun. People suffer and get sick, mad upset angry every day they have people and who deal with that. Instead Paris cried like a baby and got to go home, if that were you or I we would be laughed at and probably stayed in there longer. She probably won't go back to jail but will have to deal with all of this backlash.

It amazes me, if she really did take someone life would she have been released? Just because she is a vegetarian and refused to eat the jail food they released her? If that's the case then the other inmates should refuse to eat as well. This country lets stars get away with almost anything. Lil Kim did her sentence for lying. Paris almost took someones life and she goes free. What she should do while she is home is get her GED then again who knows if she can read!

Nobody is above the law. That includes the Sheriff's department that set her loose. Now they are under investigation. The judge is very outraged. Paris will be wishing she was living in Paris after all is said and done.

Yes.

Contrary to popular opinion and all of the "curbside attorneys" spouting their opinions now, the Deputies and supervisors in the jail have the authority, and responsibilty to release prisoners on their own recognizance under certain circumstances.

I have a suspicion she'll be returning to jail shortly... but the Judge may find LASO was acting in their best interests and Ms. Hilton's also.

We'll see....

Yes...however the SO does have some discretion in modifying the sentence if they feel it's in the best interests of all parties involved. It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out.

Yes, This is such crap! She should quit being a cry baby and do her time like everybody else and be grateful that her sentence is not longer than what was given to her.
