You are not being healthy though. You can't live on just 600-800 calories for 9 weeks. I wish people would stop being so naive to think you could just lose weight by practically starving yourself and then keep it off.
And what so many people don't understand is that losing WEIGHT isn't the same as losing FAT. You can get down to 115lb-120lb by eating 600-800 calories per day, but that certainly doesn't mean that you've lost 30lb-35lb of FAT. I would imagine OVER HALF of your weight loss will be MUSCLE loss.
When you lose muscle, your ratio of fat goes UP.
crash diets = muscle loss = higher body fat ratio = bad
Do you not care about your level of body fat or do you only care about what the scales say?

It's dangerous and unhealthy to eat only 600-800 calories per day even if it is healthy fruits and vegetables. You need to eat at least 1200 calories per day. Depending on your exercise and activity you should be able to lose 2-3 pounds a week on a 1200 calorie a day diet.

you could get down to a nice weight in 9 weeks, but not on a 600-800 calorie diet. you need at least 1300 or your body will switch to a starvation mode. it is left over in our genes from being cavemen where we would only have limited amounts of food and our bodies stored as much fat as it could for our survival. you could starve yourself into hibernation mode and your body will hold onto every ounce of fat you have and will more than likely burn off muscle and organ tissue because they are more energy dense and you won't be eating enough to give your muscles proper nutrition. eat a balanced diet eat 6 small meals a day don't eat out don't drink regular soft drinks and you will lose weight. you can cause all sorts of systems in your body to crash if you do what you are talking about thought. immune system, insulin system, hormone regulation the works you could get very sick. be healthy and good luck.

Make sure you are eating more than just fruits and vegetables. You must eat small portions from all food groups. The problem that alot of diets cause is that your body gets used to eating a certain amount of calories. When you deprive it of those calories it goes into starvation mode and lowers your metabolism. Thats why alot of diets dont work for all people. Make sure you alternate the foods you eat. Sometimes that can "trick" the body. Also, no diet can work completely without some form of exercise. Your "output" must be greater than your "input" to fully work.

even though you may lose weight, chances are you will gain it back because you are probably losing it to quickly. it doesn't matter that you are eating only fruits and veggies. you're calorie intake is TOO LOW! that spells disaster for you body and you metabolism. you shouldn't eat any less than 1200-1300 calories per day. 600-800 calories can not be sustained for a lifetime....think about that......bK

I am with you! I am eating between 800 to 1000 calories a day. Fruits and veggies are very important but eating period is very important. Do not starve yourself. Your body will store fat if you are not eating right.. I have been keeping a low calorie diet but I excersice daily and I make sure I am eating the proper foods. You are on your way to achieving your goal just be carful doing it.

All I can say is exercise, portion control, and watch what you eat. Also have set intervals between the times you eat and try to eat at the same time every day. I was in you shoes about 6 months ago. Well, good luck!!!

You might lose some, you might lose none. You should work out as well to help in the weight loss process, not just eat less.
