Global warming does NOT mean that it's going to heat up toi "tropical" temperatures EVERYWHERE and ALL the time. What global warming is all about is that the AVERAGE temperature of the Earth is rising by only a FEW degrees and on AVERAGE all over the planet. Some areas will actually get cooler, others will get MUCH warmer. On average however, the Earth's over-all temperature will get a few degrees higher.
Higher average temps MAY increase the rate of glaciation in the Polar regions. At the same time increase the rate of desertification in tropical and sub-tropical regions. Weather paterns will shift as a result of heating of the oceans, making larger meanders in the jet streams, making some areas dryer and others much wetter. There can be NO predicting of the climate in ONE particular area or region on the globe simply because this has never happenned before with the surface of the planet being in this configuration of continents and oceans (the continental drift concept).
It WOUKD be interesting to note that the noticed warming over the last few years is NOT the result of the increased Greenhouse gas emmissions that are occurring today but rather are the result of emmissions of the last 30 or 40 years. Just as the COLDEST days of winter in the northern hemisphere do NOT occur on Dec 21 but a month or two later, so TOO is there a lag between cause and effect with respect to the climate. The effects of TODAYS emmissions will not be felt for another 20 or 30 years (some researchers think it may be as long as 50 years). What WE do today will not have an effect until our grandchildren reach adulthood and if we do nothing now, then it's our grandkids that are going to suffer the repercussions, not necessarily us.
Somethjing to keep in mind as we try to wrestle with solutions to Global warming. Not only do we have to consider solving GW BUT we also have to make plans to DEAL with the upcoming warming that simplay CAN'T be avoided due to the emmissions that are being released TODAY. And those effects will NOT be pleasant. It's going to affect agriculture all over the planet with some areas being much less productive and others becoming MORE productive and there's no way to determine which will be which, where.

Good on you with your message bearing T-shirt. You are feeling the cold because it is natural climate change called winter. Could you buy a larger one and wear it over the top of your jacket because we all need to be reminded to fight global warming big time. Rising temperatures in the summer months will require your awesome T-shirt and if it is a bit stretched, well, that will let the breezes in but let us see it.

You wouldn't need the jacket in Ohio right now. Mid 80's and humid yesterday and already up to 88 today! Looks like you'll just have to get a 'Fight Global Warming' jacket for now!

The Red Chinese who made it must have used cotton grown with an insecticide made from petroleum instead of eco-friendly organic cotton. I'd demand my money back, because everyone knows that creating Global Warming Awareness like you are doing with a T shirt is going to make the problem go away in and of itself!

To support the farce of global warming is against all working people. Gore wants to save some fuel for his plane but U can walk.

Surely you are not stupid enough to believe that global warming means that there will be no more cold temperatures anywhere any time in the world. Surely you are smart enough to know it means temperature averaged over all locations in the world, including the south pole, and over long time periods, like 10 years, will go up a couple degrees. So I must assume your question is really a joke, or political statement against the treaty on climate change.
