"Where" do we believe? I believe creation in my God-created cerebral cortex--and disbelieve in spontaneous generation in that same part of my brain.
There are books published that deal with this problem, such as the age of the earth.
I recommend two sites for you to read. One tells Satan's plan to use Darwin and Huxley to spread evolution. http://abiblecode.tripod.com/cult.htm
The other is a Bible code that proves God's chronology in the Bible and timing of the plan of redemption: http://abiblecode.tripod.com

I believe both. Where in the Bible does it say there were no dinosaurs? Where in the Bible does it say that evolution did not take place? Why couldn't God create animals to evolve? In his great wisdom, he may have thought that was the best way for his creation. We humans are the ones that make an issue out of creation/evolution. I have no doubt we live in a created universe. But that does not mean that science is wrong. I truly don't see a problem having both theories to be true. To me it's not a question of evolution or creation. It is a question if you believe in God or not.

I believe in both.
What I do NOT buy into is that whales mutated from bears and humans came from apes and there is ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF OF THAT
Science has NEVER documented on video tape the process of a frog turning into a bird
So the concept of ONE SPIECES becoming ANOTHER is pure science fiction.
And the fact remains we live in and enjoy the benefits of a CREATIONIST society.
Creating things is far more practical than waiting for them to grown on trees. To evolutionists I say, if Nature intended you to live in a house Nature would have grown one for you.
It's rather egotistical and uppity to think MAN is the ultimate creator and highest intellence in the Universe.
How many animals are actually mentioned in the Bible by spieces.
Are Kangaroo's mentioned.
What Fish did Jesus serve up, trout, salmon, cod, sole?
The Bible is not a science text. It's basically for all intents and purposes a diary or ancient man and his relationship with God.

I can not deny that Dinosaurs once roamed this earth.
I also can not deny the creation account as recorded in the Bible.
We must understand that the Bible IS NOT the history of the world, but the history of God's attempts to offer us a path of reconciliation.

There is nothing to believe. The process of evolution is proven scientific fact. There is no debate to be had about this.
The only debate is how and why evolution happens.
But the people saying that evolution is not real are not only uneducated on the subject, but also, the only reason they believe it's not real is because a 2000 year old book of mythology says otherwise. They have no factual evidence to lend credence to this mythology.
What's a shame is that this cult is so powerful in this country (and ONLY in this country) that they have the money to fund such things as Liberty University and the Creationist Museum.
It sickens me.

you should watch bill hick's video, his take on it is highly amusing AND intelligent.
ok, so do you really think that god put fossils in the earth as a joke to fool people into thinking that many years ago huge creatures roamed the planet??!! bless. how sweet of you.
a common ancestor is indeed true of how we evolved, though i begin to wonder whether some people who are xtians did manage to get hold of the gene for evolving...........
please do some serious research, both pro- and anti- xtian, pro and anti evolution/creation so that you can hold a sensible debate over this. good luck, see you when you have done so.

Oh, boy this is really gonna get some answers! Personally, I don't see why God couldn't have created the dinosaurs and they just died off. There has to be some form of natural selection, we have tons of evidence of extinct speceis. I sincerely doubt that through some random twist of fate a nonliving particle became living and eventually developed into humanity. There is no reason God couldn't do that. He could've even buried the bones and them look real old. LOL. Ours is not to reason why.

God: hypothesized entity that I believe in
evolution: extremely well supported scientific theory that anyone with a dram of understanding accepts
Where do I believe? Right here, in my chair, infront of my computer. But I'm about to believe over in front of the fridge while getting a snack.

Have you ever thought that the people that write the bible were just another human? If you think about it makes sense because the people that write the bible would not of known that Dinos ever existed that's why the bible has bugs, as if it was word of God then it would of been written into it as some of his creations!

Science goes by reason and evidence, whereas religion is just someone saying "this is The Truth, believe it because I say so or you'll be tortured in Hell for all eternity". Give me science any day.
