CarlEdwardsfan is correct. Obviously not all cars during a race have live cameras, to keep the cars aerodynamically equal, all cars have the "hockey puck".

The Hockey Puck thing on the roof of the Nascar Cars is one of the Cameras that nascar puts on the car, have you watched a race and they show the in car cams and it shows the roof of the car, its comeing from the roof cam, Nascar puts several cameras on the cars during the race.
