First off...how old are you both? Do you live in the same house? This could be tricky..My husbands niece married her stepfathers son, they have 3 kids and are very happy.But,they did not grow up together in the same house.I would give this a lot of thought, it could cause some problems for your families...do you just want to sleep with her because she's cute and you're physically attracted to her or do you genuinely love and care about this girl?

When you start asking others whether to have sex with her , that means you are interested in having sex with her. Also you said she is just cute. So you have an urge for that. But she is like sister to you. So socially it is wrong, but certain religion allows it.

Legally and genetically, as long as you do not share a parent, you are ok - do mutant offspring or long jail terms.
Ethically, you're on shaky ground. Most sexual relationships end... many end poorly. It's easy when you can say your good byes and not deal with them anymore... but you'll be dealing with your step sister for a long time.

It may be legal, as you are not blood relations, but it is guaranteed to cause serious problems within the family and possibly worse problems for you.
