I was reading the Kamloops Daily the other day and someone was giving away a horse, most likely something was wrong with it otherwise they wouldn't do that. But good luck I don't think you will find a horse for under 200 dollars.

Sometimes there are auctions for livestock and horses,200 dollars will buy you a horse but beware the rascals good luck

try rural auctions, its a risky buy though as you generally cannot inspect the horse before you buy and its sold as is. may of those auctions are also where slaughter horses go before they make that last trip so you will see some pretty pitiful ones there as well. if you go to an auction go towards the middle -end of the month on a rainy nasty day, more people stay home on nasty days and the horses go a bit cheaper (true of most auctions horse or otherwise)

i don't think someone sells a horse for only 200 dollars thats so cheap. All you have to do if you want a horse is to work harder and earn money in that way you can buy a horse in no time

Unlikely you will find one. Furthermore, do you realize that the major expense with horses comes not from the horse itself but its care and upkeep?

A good option would be finding a horse rescue farm in your area and volunteering there. You get the joy of horses without the expense.
