as long as nobody can see your business when you bend over it doesn't matter what you wear under your clothes.

There is nothing wrong with going commando to church. I do it every single Sunday (and everyday). Who is looking for that anyway during church? If a lady notices that I am not wearing anything underneath my slacks, then I hope she likes what she sees. I know I have gotten several looks & whispers over the years.

What you wear or do not wear under your clothing is of little importance. Going to church in the first place is what should be important. If however, your underwear attire, or lack thereof, distracts you or others so they are no longer concentrating on church, then I would suggest something more conservative. If however, you are wearing something that is not shown in any way and is not cause for distraction, there is no reason you can't wear whatever you want.

Um. No. I don't recall seeing a commandment that says,
"Thou shall not go commando or wear sexy undergarments in church"
Then again, I'm not a Christian anymore, who knows what they've added to the bible since I last took a look at it?

You could just show up dressed like a Vanuatu tribesman. I hear wearing nothing but those long tubes allows a lot of ventilation to the rest of the body.

As I wouldn't be wearing an outfit to church that allowed anyone else to see what sort of underwear (or lack there of) I was wearing, I don't think it would be a problem.

As long as the person wearing them (or not) isn't flashing everyone I don't see what difference it makes. To the best of my knowledge there's not a church underwear rule.

If someone can tell the status of your undergarments at church, you are doing far more wrong than right....
Your attire should not distract from the reason you are there - to worship.

As long as you don't make a general announcement of the fact, I doubt anyone is really going to care. Personally, that would be too much information for my liking.

No, as long as you keep it covered by trousers. If you are a female wearing a skirt or a dress, no "beaver shots."
The important thing is that you are at church. Enjoy the experience. [smile]
