okay here's the real story...a woman was promised a nice romantic dinner at a swanky resto overlooking a lake...instead what she got was an austere plate of 2 corn cobs and 3 plain corn tortillas at a diner right next to a cornfield...as if that wasn't enough, her date was telling non-stop corny jokes all night long......a woman corned indeed!!! naturally, she was furious as hell!!!

She ordered potatos; the waiter will suffer with her, through the tip.

I assume you know the actual saying is, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". But in case you just misheard it...

Shakespeare's version was: "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", but your version, albeit corny, is quite witty, as if one said: "hell hath no fury like a man corned" it would be a pun on "cornu" and would refer to a man who was a cuckold.

She had to use the corn because her bf scorned her and she could not decide whether to use butter or margarine.
