Hard to say. Unlike other religions, pagans are born, not made. There are pagans all over the world, even if they never meet one another. We are born in every society and culture and religion, yet we always find our way back to our original faith. Without ever learning about Christ, a person will never one day wake up and "believe" (otherwise there would be no need for missionaries).
So religion disappearing, not likely. Ours is the first faith. It has lasted more than 20,000 years and will continue as long as there are humans breathing.
*Wow, there are some heated Xtians in here. A "true christian" should know that God is Love, period. Christianity is supposed to be the religion of the "humble and mild". I guess, if it didn't work during the Crusades, or the Inquisitions, or the days of the Conquistadores, it's not going to work now, huh?

When the human race has no need for hope. Religion offers many people hope that we are more than just a physical body and that our lives have meaning. Religion offers the idea that we are a part of something larger than ourselves. True there have been unspeakable acts of violence and hatred carried out in the name of different religions but that is due to narrow mindedness and bigotry cause by members of the religion. Most religions would rather encourage getting along than violence. It is unfortunate that some seem to lose sight of that in a race to grab the most followers to justify themselves.

"Religions" as known by most people are man made!!! They will disappear when the new system of worship, is put in place. Biblical prophecies must happen before this occurs, so you'll be waiting quite a long time. All religions will fade away, as following Christ, the Savior, takes place. Whatever name is placed on it, it will be universal, throughout the entire world.

Superstition may never completely disappear. To some extent, it's inherent in the way the human brain works.

"a christian girl" is threatening the Atheists by saying that God is on her side? If there is no God, there is no threat!
If you were brought up a Christian and your friends are Christians, for someone to tell you there is no god is like when someone told you thet Santa Claus did not exist. It is telling you that your parents lied to you, and your friends. and the priest. Every priest knows in his heart that religion just provides a sensible code for people to live by.

It will probably never dissapear, but I think that when the old codgers drop off, it will be much diminished. Or when the weather is disasterous around the world, they will just shut their mouths and try to survive.

It won't disappear. It will just keep fading away, with the occasional gasps for life. There will always be some people who just buy into that crap.

very soon according to Revelation chapter 17 and 18 the bible explain that the goverments will take the power to religious organizations.
That doesn´t mean that people will stop believing, no it is the power or influence, for example right now that influence is driving the wars between muslims and Christians in muslims they believe we are infidels and Christians sent a "Land letter" in 2002 supporting the war. look for "land letter" in Wikipedia.
