Liver and sausage is a good start,but use chipolatas.(small sausages)...........oh!!! i see by your other Question you planned too.

Always use lambs liver as it is by far more tender and less gristly.
cover liver with a coating of flour mixed with seasoning and fry with onions - really tasty with potatoes and peas.

Braised liver - again coat in flour, fry in about 1 oz butter. Remove from pan. Chop 2oz bacon up and fry in pan and then remove this too. Place another oz butter to pan and fry some sliced onion, a celery stick chopped up and 2 old potatoes diced. Add 1 bay leaf and some parsley, 2 skinned tomatoes,seasoning and a pinch of mustard. Pour just over 1/4 pint stock ( make with bacon stock cube) and just over 1/4 pint red wine. Replace the liver and bacon on top, cover pan and cook slowly for about 2 1/2 hours. Lift the liver and bacon out onto a hot dish. Blend vegetables, add the stock, reheat and pour around the liver. Serve with potatoes and veg

Easy...1.boil a kettle of water.2.put the liver cut into approx. inch wide strips into a colander in the sink.3.pour boiling water over liver;allow to drain.4.roll liver in flour.5.shake off excess flour,fry with bacon.(I use butter.)6.serve with boiled potatoes and gravy.

i don't think your girlfriend likes liver. Try Penne Vodka or something else that tastes good maybe? Unless you are trying to get her to break up with you then go with the liver!
