Sometimes you just have to find the answer yourself.
Keep working at it. If you have to go over somebody else's head, do it. Find the person who can help you.
In so many businesses that are supposed to be customer-service related, the customer service is bad. You just have to look out for yourself and ask the right questions.

It is called "HEAD GAMES"
So don't give them the chance to draw you into the game
When they talk to you, just answer yes, no, maybe, whatever you think, I'll think about it. etc...I do that with people I want to avoid falling into their trap by getting into a conversation.. Meanwhile you are still being respectful. They get the message quickly.

Store up the anger and when you get the opportunity for revenge make them squirm , if the revenge takes to much time create a situation where they have to come crawling and then STICK EM !!!!!

Gauge the reason you are attracted to this person and make a decision if the games are worth the aggravations

I just keep nagging until I get an answer. Just let them know that you will not quit hounding them until they tell you what you want to know.

social games are quite common---you'll come to recognize those 'social butterflies' individuals who are 'insincere' after they 'josh' you a time, or two, too many times---or, play 'put-off' games---once you've identified someone as such---my best advise to you is to 'simply "WRITE THEM OFF" 'avoiding them when/where possible( or having ONLY MINIMUM NECESSARY DEALINGS AS REQUIRED if necessity dictates )'

Be up front and call them on it. Usually they will be so taken aback that they have been called out, that they won't know how to respond, and you can walk away knowing that you are one up on them.
