My ex bf refused to commit but wanted children. He tried to keep our relationship quiet always degrade me, said I'll not be a fit mother, my cooking wasn't good, I am the best cook ever, my cleaning wasn't right but my house was.

He is my best friend of many years, was always there for me. We were always in relationships, so never were interested in each other, until once, he was single and I was in a relationship. He then took me out to super resturant, bought me a bouquet of red roses as a thank you for a meeting I set up for him, and asked me if I loved him several times. After that guy and I broke up, and I had a breakdown at work due to harassment from employer, he was there for me when I was vulnerable. Then he started abusing me, so I went from 52, to 36 kilos. He told me he loved the way I loved him, wanted to be a father, then was moving back with his ex, same romantic evening! He left long ago, spread gossip.Should I go public now? Silence hurts. He got off scott free.

Yes, you should go public with this. The sooner you do so, the better off you'll be. When all is said and done, then you should move on with your life. I know there is somebody out there for you who will treat you with the love and respect you so surely deserve, and I do hope you'll find him. Good Luck.

What are you going to do tell everyone what a horrible person he was?

If you need counsling seek it. But dont relive these moments by telling every Tom Dick and Harry you are emotionally distressed because of your ex boyfriend. That may come back to bite you. However, if someone asks what happend I dont see the problem in telling them.

Good Luck.

Not really scott free, he's bound to pull it again on someone else. Bad mouthing him now--and that's how it will sound--will just make you look bad. Unfair, but that's life. Living well is the best revenge. You didn't deserve this treatment, but try to move on.

It sounds to me like he is STILL controlling your life.

Get over it and move on. LOTS of things don't work out in life the way we might like them to.
