Thank god that amnesty bill was stopped. Here are some ideas I thought of for a new immigration bill.
1.If both of your parents are illegal immigrants & you are born in the U.S. you will be considered an illegal immigrant.
2.No family reunification
3.No citizenship for illegal aliens convicted of felons.
4.You must pay a $10,000 fine to become a citizen.
5.You must become fluent in both reading & writing English before gaining citizenship.
6.You will have to under go a physical & psychological testing to gain citizenship.
7.If they still want to become an American citizen & they did all of those things then they will be given citizenship.
8.If you don't pass all of the things I listed you will be deported & never be allowed to gain U.S. citizenship.

I agree only with the number 3, the number 1, in any country that you born in, oyu become automatically a citizen of this country, no matter where, I knoew many people that their parents are americans and they born in other country like Alemania, so for that reason they need papers too. 2 I think that really you have a family problem in you live. 4. Already cost a lot to become a citizen. 5. English re becomeing a second language. 6. We would do the same with the rest of the population, so the person that are crazy or sick maybe like you we deport them to the end of the universe. 7and8 if the rest of the population can desmostrate thay they can do the work that the immigrants do with the same payments, and the same conditions and if they pass the 6 and be able to adapt to new situation and changes like leraning spanish they can stay over here.

No one will adopt your plan. Item #1 would require an amendment to the US Constitution. That won't happen. Your other points are too restrictive.

I think you have fallen into the obfuscation trap, set by Congress and the President. The issue that most Americans want dealt with it securing our borders. The government should secure the borders and deport all illegals when and where they are found. These laws are already on the books.

Think up some penalties for Congress and the President for failure to enforce the laws we have.

I STRONGLY agree with #4. If I have to read one more billboard in Arabic, or one more cereal box in Spanish, I'm just going to go nuts.

And why are we pushing shows that are teaching Spanish, such as Dora the Explorer or Go Diego? Now, granted, I'm not against teaching a foreign language when they're in middle or high school, but it's being forced onto kids by the liberals who think they have to be totally P.C.

But one thing I'd like to add to your plan would be that they have to prove that they are an asset to the U.S. Economy by physically proving they have skills that would benefit us in some way, shape, or form.

I like it. Some amendments could be, If you are convicted of a felony like rape or murder you are executed no questions asked and you cannot claim more than ten dependents on your taxes. Did you know that Sher riff Jone of Butler County, Ohio Sent a bill to the president of mexico for housing illegal immigrants in his jail?

extensive form one why waste components on spending u . s . a . money to pay those troops while u . s . a ./canada/mexico are approximately to merge. extensive form 2 there is sufficient place of work work with haveing a newborn, and the administrative.is clogged up sufficient because it extremely is with place of work work, including extra won't accomplish something it is going to actualy slow it down. and what with regard to the unlawful men comeing here and haveing babies with legal voters? wouldnt that cater to them saying that their babies could be voters however the infants born from mexican mothers cant be? that sounds a splash sexist, extensive form 3 english being a countrywide language I have no subject with yet i do have a topic with the administrative.advocating cruelty or destructive therapy to any team of human beings(i remind you that even our hardend criminals preserve their civil rights), extensive form 4 the cities that have effectively deported the final public of illegals there have had to revoke those rules so as that buisnesses can reopen(undergo in suggestions that if a buisness relys on some hardworking illegals it may additionally hire particularly some voters and the closeing of that buisness potential extra human beings without jobs, to no longer point out the hit to the financial equipment, much less human beings earning income potential much less spending it), extensive form 5 i dont disagree with yet i think of that voters could desire to be compelled to sign in for crimes besides, this could realy help improve saftey in colleges and universities besides as workplaces, extensive form six isn't a undesirable one the two, extensive form seven i do no longer accept as true with in common terms because of the fact in case you do no longer enable them to come again here legaly they're going to the two locate the thank you to get here illegaly or their kinfolk member will finally end up sending them money which hurts our financial equipment and strengthens theirs, extensive form 8 is okay different than the giveing them to foster care our foster care structures are finished, the infants could desire to be sent with the mothers and dads or if that may not risk-free for them placed in custody of legal kinfolk here or in custody of kinfolk interior the immigrant's living house usa i do additionally think of that the youngster could desire to be allowed to return while they're 18.

I agree. When my great grandparents came over LEGALLY they had to go through Ellis Island and they were treated like crap. The smallest health problem and they were sent back, they had their names changed and if they were allowed to stay, they found jobs and busted their butts working. There was no free ride, no accommodating them not to have to learn English. Immigration today is a joke.

4 and 5... Congress would never go for that.

The rest seems reasonable... but still unlikely. That's just the way it is... probably nothing will change because there will always be someone blocking the bill from getting passed regardless of the conditions.

And I add, As long as you are here working, you are required to have a Green Card and Pay Taxes like everyone else. No More freebies like free housing, medical, food stamps ect. unless you are paying into the System like All Americans have done for years.
