i know i eat far too much and dont take enough exercise but i am only 8 stone and 5 foot 7!
i have two breakfasts eg 2x toast and cereal then for snacks pies crisps about 8 chocolate bars a day and its not only bad stuff i eat i have usually 7 portions of fruit and veg a day and have a healthy diet with unhelthy stuff on top too!
i have luch then another large meal around 3 then dinner at 6 and loads of snacks and bowls of cereal then supper which is usually soup and a bread roll
i eat about 3500 calories sometimes more a day and i rarely exercise i am not lazy but i never do stuctured exercise.
i defiantly dont have worms or any disorder as i visited my gp.
i am afraid if i change my diet or exercise more i will lose weight from my already very thin frame which may make me ill.
please please help what is going on?

Here is a little known fact about fat cells and how they change. The full article has more information. The website is at the bottom.
"Most newborns have about 5 billion fat cells. This number increases to 30 to 50 billion in nonobese young adults and to 75 billion in full-grown obese people. After maturity, there's normally very little change in fat cell number. Fluctuations in body fat during adulthood are accommodated by changes in cell size, not by the creation of new cells."
"Q: Are you born with a certain number of fat cells? Can you can produce more by overeating? Once you have those fat cells, can you ever get rid of them? You can empty them, but they are still there, like insidious little sponges just waiting for you to trip up so they can refill themselves.
A: You're born with a predetermined number of fat cells, with women generally inheriting more than men. The number of fat cells then grows through late childhood and early puberty, after which it is pretty much set. Fat cell number increases more rapidly in obese children than in lean children.
The amount of fat someone has is a reflection of both the number and the size of the fat cells."

same thing with me. Do you have a high energy level? The fuel for this has to come from somewhere. Do you have a lot of stress?
Basically if you want to gain weight you have to eat the right foods. 8 chocolate bars a day is not good, but it's not the number one way to gain mass either. If you eat that much and you exercise you won't lose weight to the point where you become ill. Something's missing here, you're leaving something out.

I think you're just one of those people with a high metabolic rate. Those 8 chocolate bars a day could be doing you damage, actually, all that sugar ... cut down to 4 for a bit and see how you go. You'd be better off eating more potatoes, couscous, rice, bulgur wheat, pasta ... foods with a low GI, nothing with too much sugar or over processed foods. Do you eat dairy? It sounds like you would benefit from full-fat for a while anyway.
Those snacks and chocolates you mention could be ruining your skin.

Like a lot of other people have said it's most likely down to your metabolism, as you're young it's faster. However, best to get out of bad habits now because as you get older your metabolism will slow down, and you'll find it harder to break any habits that are making you put weight on.
Plus, if you want to weigh more / put on weight get down the gym and build some muscle instead.
