Although no Iraqi's were involved in the atrocities of 9/11 and according to the 9/11 commission Iraq had no links to the attack and most notably Al Qaeda.

Why did we go to war with Iraq?
Was it WMD's? No
Saddam Hussein stated that the UN disarmed the majority of his Arsenal in the 90's...the reason he kept stating he had these weapons was not the likelihood of another American led attack but one from Iran. He was wary of what the Shia led government could do to the Sunni minority led Iraqi establishment.
Oil? Maybe
The 2 biggest contractors in Iraq today are American companies, one being Halliburton which has strong links to the American administration.
Did Iraq pose a threat to the west? No
Even the botched Iraq dossier by Blair and his numpties concluded that although they "sexed up" the document, Iraq posed no threat to us in the West.
So all in all, what was the case for this needle

Thats bollox...if each state as you say had a role to play in 9/11 and the lead up to the attcks because of their stance on issues, why not include / attack Saudi Arabia, afterall the majority of those mentalists on 9/11 were from the Kingdom and so is its hencman Osama Bin Laden...you Yanks talk to much bollox sometimes, look at the wider scale of things and ask yourself "why were you attacked" only then can you fully realise the justifications for 9/11

The CIA put Saddam in charge of Iraq and his military was armed and aided by the USA and the Brits. Why? Cause he was at war with the then American enemy number one: the Ayatolla Khomeini.
The Iraqi regime was dumbfounded when its friends (USA & UK) moved against them in 1991. The Iraqis had invaded Kuwait because they owed Iraq billions of dollars and had told them to go and swivel if they wanted their money back.
....and Kuwait was once a part of Iraq.
Enter the United Nations - which is a bigger joke than you can comfortably see in one go - and their member states interests in the Kuwait oil fields help unleash a US military which hasn't been gainfully employed for thirty years.
Scoot forward ten years and some Saudi lunatics wipe out thousands of futures in one go - on global TV - in a horrendously spectacular fashion - and the target nation (who have not long since elected into office the biggest warmonger the world has seen in decades) engages in a war with a completely different country - Afghanistan.
Hang on. Weren't the attackers from Saudi? The Bush regime is friendly with the Saudi's though. Got military bases there and everything.
Why Afghanistan? Is it cause the US failed to secure a pipeline through the Caspian in the late 1990's after talks with the Taliban broke down? Did a campaign in Afghanistan change the ruling regime to the Northern Alliance (remember them?)
So it did.
Then the most powerful nation on Earth turned its ever more paranoid sights on Saddam, who probably wouldn't co-operate any more, especially with the Afghan Oil Colony idea, so his regime is targeted.
Why was that? Weapons of Mass Destruction! - so screamed the banner headlines, while anyone who cared to look saw that not only had Iraq had been scrapping with Al Qaeda for years - but sanctions and continuing military actions by the west had all but wrecked Iraq's offensive capabilites.
Now we're left with an American government that simply uses McCarthyism with a smiley face in place of its own constitution and a Britain that is so firmly allied to US foreign policy that we have merely exchanged a paramilitary threat for a far more suicidal fundamentalist one.

It's like this, Iraq has lots of oil and they cannot defend themselves against America's war machine. That's justification enough for George Bush and the American Congress to send in the military.
Iran is next cos they have lots of oil as well and George and the boys are already making up stories about Iran trying to make nuclear bombs to pave the way for an invasion. Iran making nuclear bombs, what a joke!!. I don't think they even have toilet paper yet!!
Not to worry though. When the American military is stretched to the limit trying to defend the oil fields that they are stealing throughout the Middle East, Communist China and Russia will show them what little tricks they have up their sleeves and Capitalism will become yet another failed socio-ecomonic experiment. Communism will rise from it's slumber and within 20 years all of us will be eating fried rice and getting drunk on vodka and America will become a third world country to match it's third world mentality.
Nice one America, you could'nt settle for just knowing you were the most powerful and richest nation on the planet. You had to get greedy and f**k it all up for the rest of us. Hope you all enjoy sucking chow mein through a straw when you are pathetic old men, it might help you all lose some weight.

No, first they did locate WMD however the media reported that they have got been previous or no longer interior the parts predicted. They have been jumbled in with known weapons. 2d, Saddam replaced into violating the ceasefire signed to end the 1st Gulf conflict. The UN risk-free practices council affirmed this 14 situations from 1990 to 2002. 0.33, Saddam replaced into firing upon US and British planes imposing the no fly zone. no count the way you spin it, the Iraq conflict replaced right into a legal conflict. It replaced into in common terms a continuation of the 1st gulf conflict because of the fact there replaced into no peace treaty signed. in case you probably did no longer comprehend, the only way a conflict can incredibly end is thru a peace treaty. FYI, particular that does advise that we are nevertheless at conflict with North Korea.

I agree with the Iraq war! - I don't care whether Iraq was involved in 9/11 there are other issues which need to be sorted out which are more relivant to that day of infamy!.
All that concerns me is that Saddam and his henchmen got what they deserve. Its Just a pity i wasn't there to activate the trap door when they hanged them!.
Iraq and Iran did/do pose a huge threat to the west!, - Iran because it wants to have nuclear weapons with intent to attack Israel and Iraq because if it hadn't been checked would have continually destabilised the region and in all likelyhood would have fought wars with Israel and Saudi Arabia wrecking the world economy.
WMD was just a smoke screen! the real reason for going to war was to get rid of Hussein. His aggressive posturing towards Israel and other neighbouring countries threatened western society. All those people who sit around moaning groaning about the war should think themselves lucky that Bush and Blair had the guts to invade Iraq to rid the world of this tyrant, If they hadn't, we'd all be paying the price sooner later with a world wide recession caused in part by disruption to oil supplies from the middle east.
Call me selfish but i like driving my car i like heating my home and i like the bendfits of a free society!

This whole entire was is pointless. There was no need for it at all, we could of just let them deal with there affairs alone without the need for involvement. If those three groups cannot get along let them rid each other off the the face of the earth if they want. All the money spent there could have been used to improve the united states and help improve education for the children and make advancements in medicine and technology.

The US had no legitimate reason to invade and occupy Iraq. We had a weak minded fool of a president who wanted to posture as a " war president " . We had a government influenced by neo fascist neocons whose ideology held that the US could create " America friendly " democracies in the weaker states of the Middle East and adventurists who lusted after the second largest oil field reservoirs in the world. Spurred on by the catalyst of September 11th 2001, a war propaganda based on lies stampeded many Americans into approving this misadventure. The Republican administration justified Bush's war with false claims, false intelligence and false evidence. I am just surprised so many Americans fell for this trap.
At the end of the day, its Bush's war.
Its the GOP's war. I wish them the joy of it.

Saddam starting selling petrol in currency non American. That was a huge sin in the eyes of America's handlers. Had this trend continued other countries may have followed suit, and the American dollar would truly be a petrol dollar - though it is already. Likely Iran will be selling petrol in Euros shortly, already we hear noises from America's handlers about this.

Hey, first of all, there is NO justification for 9-11.... where-ever you´re from you´re sick in the head if you think 911 can even be remotely justified.
2nd, here is the resolution passed in Congress:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2002/10/20021002-2.html
read the resolution, it should clear everything up for you and provide real facts, not facts taken from the high school cafeteria...
