Val-

Are any of the creams you are using - contain mineral oils.?
This would be distilled petroleum and it's not healthy for your skin contrary to what people believe - it causes more harm then help- (it's cheap) so look for that.

Otherwise use a pure and natural cream for your skin.
I love the re9 regime by Arbonne - because all of the anti elements for aging are pure and natural -

I'm no expert on stretchmarks but, i know the white ones are not as serious as the darker looking ones...try usin Bio Oil for a while instead of moisturiser. the Bio Oil reduces the look of stretchmarks if not removing them completely, and it will moisturise your skin at the same time. those kind of stretch marks can become apparant if you lose alot of weight quickly, pick up alot of weight quickly or if you lose and gain weight constantly. the skin takes constant strain everyday that is why it is so important to look after it.

No, moisturizing creams do not cause stretch marks. Stretch marks happens when skin stretches due to maybe gaining weight ,etc. My husband lift weights everyday and I see stretch marks by his arm pits...skin gets stretch from lifting the weights or maybe gaining more muscle. Keeping your skin moisturized helps your skin actually and probably if you don't use moisturizer, you'll find more marks than what you have now. Also drink lots of water!
