Because as evolutionary creatures, we women are bred to be courted, not to court. Men are getting too lax these days, while women are working harder at home, at the office, and in love.
Its fine if a woman decides to do so, but don't expect it as a general rule of thumb - women like the coyness of men fighting for their attention, not the other way around.

yes.as a matter of fact,i've done that myself.although i didnt offer a drink,i just approached him n asked him if i could join him as he was siting alone.he was quite good looking,then after meeting for a few more dates,he expected we'd soon go to bed,coz dats wat dumb guys think.....if a grl approaches u,shes desperate!so i dumped him.
