It must be relatively easy to teach as it is to be performed in 3 weeks time. Aideas really appreciated in areas of funny sketches, drama, dance, song etc. Please help!!

remember it's only 10 to 15 mins on stage. Thanks, comedy and clips from musicals have won it in the past but have'nt a clue what to do this year.

The Telephone Song from Bye Bye Birdie. Fifties-things are always in and cute, the vocal are not hard (Goin' steady - goin' steady - goin' steady for good!) and can be done with singers frozen or blacked-out in boxes. Rent the old movie with Dick Van Dyke and Chita Rivera - you'll see! Nice alternative to High School Musical. If you do not know the song - girls are *excited* that one got *pinned* - the boys are horrified that one of them has been *caught* - and one poor schlemiel is still calling around for a date ("Hello Mrs. Weinstein - is Charity home from school yet?)

"The Water Babies" impromptu ballet (maybe Fingals Cave or similar music). Green lighting.
Underwater scene - fish, mermaids. They wouldn't need much planned choreography; some kids could be weaving water plants others weaving fish.
Backdrop of a sunken ship, maybe? Open treasure chest with "creatures" exploring.
