Please disregard any of these answers that suggest that you can feed the kitten cow's milk. That simply isn't the best thing. Milk gives cats "the runs" and having "the runs" for very long can cause dehydration and be an actual risk to life in a baby that small. Also cow's milk does not have the right nutrtition for baby kittens.

He needs KITTEN REPLACEMENT MILK. I can't say for sure that infant formula (for humans) is bad or good, because I'm just now hearing about using it for kittens for the first time. Maybe lactose free might work, but just get the kitten formula. I'm sure you can find it at any pet store, and I've often even seen it at Wal-mart. Also you'll find these cute tiny bottles just the right side. But actually a kitten that old can probably lap up the milk. I also think by that age they are normally starting to think about trying some solid food (maybe canned). But the mom usually still nurses it. Ask your vet to be sure, or find a really good website..

But don't give it cow's milk!

OK everyone on her told you to feed kitten replacement milk. This is good. Also, make sure that kitten is laying on her belly when you feed and hold the bottle at a 45 degree angle. This lowers the chance of it choking on the milk. This is very important. If this baby kitten is only 3 weeks and not 4, you will have to help it go potty. Kittens usually cannot go on their own until they are at least 4 weeks old. Take a warm, wet, washcloth and rub from center of belly to butt until you get all of the waste out. You have to do this every time you feed it, until it can do it on it's own. The mommy kitty usually does this by licking the genital areas of baby kittens.

Most department stores and farm supply stores carry kitten replacement milk and tiny little kitten bottles. I bought mine at Tractor Supply. Once you start your kitten on formula, stick to the same one and do not change. If you change the milk, it makes them throw up. Baby kittens do not know how to do that and usually get choked on the vomit.

Contact your local Vet/Humane Society/Feral cat rescue etc. to verify this and any other answers: As a shelter Manager my advice is as follows:
Depending on health and hydration of kittens when found:
1st choice: try to find a nursing mom by calling shelters, vets and rescues.
2nd Choice: KMR kitten supplement use as directed found in most pet food dealers, pet stores and vet hospitals.
At 4-5 weeks of age you can combine baby food and KMR into a thick paste (meat variety's such as chicken, beef, lamb and if needed squash for digestion with a highly palatable nutritional supplement if needed (nutri cal).
Its important that you know how to bottle feed kittens. Young kittens can easily aspirate if improperly bottle fed. Call your local Humane Society/Shelter for a quick course in foster kitten care.
Its my personal advise and experience that you should avoid cows milk and human baby formula especially on very young kittens.

If the guard needs a foster for a three to 4 week previous, i could say it could consume by means of itself. you will ought to grant clutter field and much and many affection and interaction to socialise them. 2 to 6 hours an afternoon by means of themselves would not be a project. merely go away them in a secure place with dry nutrition, water, mattress and a clutter field. Then come abode and play, play, play. My foster kittens consume moist canned kitten nutrition mixed with kitten milk. I furnish it each and every 4 hours or so, reckoning on my time table. I actual have dry kitten nutrition accessible in any respect situations. those little the teeth can consume dry kibbles. I ought to declare that taking good care of kittens at that age is plenty relaxing. They like to play, locate and have interaction with you. whilst you're working from abode on a working laptop or computing gadget, anticipate loads of help.

pls carefully handle the kitty. Slowly lift the kitten by taking her/him :-) around her neck and keep on ur lap. Use the Normal feeding bottle used fro babies. Fill the feeding bottle with fresh boiled and cooled milk . Feed the kitty by keeping its mouth to the nibble of the bottle. The kitty will respond by drinking the milk. The kitty is to small to drink milk or eat anything from bowls or plates. Usually its mother teaches it how to drink milk from bowls by licking. Now should give only milk thru feeding bottles. After 2 to 3 months, slowly turn to feeding from milk to other food items like bread, fish with no bones, pedigree cat food is gud one too. After 2 months feed the kitty by giving its food or milk in bowls or plates and not thru feeding bottles. Dip the kitty's mouth into the milk bowl and it will respond by licking it but do this only after 2 or 3 months. I luv kittens too and do take care of it just like babies

That happend to me once, you'll have to buy a pet bottle and kitten formula. Its really cute, after awhile you can ween it onto dry foods. I did this by pouring hot water over the dry food to moisten it up, make it softer... of course let it cool off before I gave it to the kitten. Anyway good luck!

Ask your vet for kitten replacement formula, or look at a petstore like Petsmart for it.
