After visiting my gyno, I learned that my hymen is still intact, albeit slighlty stretched. I have been sexually active for some years but I guess mine is just really strong (and I'm sure that using lots of lube helps)! I'm considering allowing my bf to tear it by sleeping with him without using any "help." since, we love each other, i think it'd be like having him take my virginity. however, i kind of want to wait for it to be torn when im married, also. i havent asked him yet because i dont want him to feel bad if i decide to wait. guys, would you even think its special if your gf asked you to do something like this or would it not really matter cos shes not really a virgin? or would this kind of thing just be some turn on?
Please, no crude jokes. I can come up with my own =)

oh, and i think he may think its special because, obviously, hymens do matter. it's big business in the cosmetic industry- just google it. and i think he'd be turned on for the same reason guys get off on anal: it's painful.

and thank god the women's movement ended learn about a bunch of angry women? eww, pass! I'd rather learn about the statistical probability of an electron's location at any given moment.

Virginity is probably the most over rated commodity on the planet.

Different guys will interpret your situation differently, as is evident in the responses. But honestly if this is the guy you want to be with for the rest of your life, if he feels the same about you then it will be special to him. Virgin or not virgin is incidental to the situation--couples really need to share moments that cannot be replicated, and this is one of them. If he's happy to do it, it means he loves you so much that it really makes him happy to share a moment in which you are expressing to him in your own way that he is the one. Whether you save it for marriage or not really depends on you and whether or not that will make it more special for the both of you.

what's there to be excited about? yeah the hymen is not torn yet. but since you are sexually active, it means you already did it before. and not just once.

virginity means that you haven't done it before. so you're not a virgin anymore. i doubt that it (tearing your hymen) would still matter with your bf.

also it doesn't mean that your bf would love you more if you're still a virgin. i wouldn't. i don't care.

It is my veiw that a person be it male or female should be a virgin when they marry. According to the word any sexual activity is considered fornication which is a sin. My advice to you is stop having sex.

Your virginity is the only thing you have to give your husband. So with that in mind I will tell you to wait.

Good luck with your decision I hope you make the right one

Sorry, you're not a Virgin if you have let a man penetrate you. Your boyfriend can tear it off and make a wallet out of it, if he wants to. You've had sex. You're not a Virgin. Deal with it. Ask your Gyno if you have any more questions.

The women's movement happened over 30 years ago.
Why do you willingly want to reduce your worth/value with talk about vaginal tissue?????????????????????
Please educate yourself - on women's liberation / the history of misogyny etc.
Try the internet.

it would be pretty hot. especially if she yelped during it. i'm serious. like she was actually losing her virginity.

add a school-girl outfit and this one is a winner.
