i would just watch your kids fave shows with them and work off what they teach on there.that way you AND the show are inforcing it,which makes it fun and easy to learn.I know Barney taught me many things.mostly in song:
"please and thank yo are the magic words"
"clean up,clean up,everybody everywhere,clean up, clean up, everybody do their share"
"Oh I'm brushing my teeth on top, it's so much fun I hate to stop, but while I'm brushing my teeth and having so much fun, I never let the water run."

about eating right, I seen the slogan, "Eat five a day the color way"
it affirms eating fruits and veggies of every color every day.
