Lots of possibilities here.
1. He was nuts and part of his psychosis has him fixated on religion. Christianity would not be to blame for that.
2. He is sane but so strongly moved by his belief that because of his loving concern for the unsaved... he feels it necessary to warn people that both heaven and hell are real and we must all face Jesus at the end of our life for judgment.
3. Or you are crazy... you only THINK you saw someone on the corner saying weird stuff. *wink*

Christianity is not the problem. That man is likely mentally ill or disturbed in some way. Christianity does not advocate bizarre behavior like that, and being Christian does not make you do things like that.

Naw. That is what happens when people who are already insane discover religion. It's a very sever mental illness when one who is already mentally ill becomes religious.
