it doesn't matter what the world thinks. If you love him and he loves you,why bother about race?
i don't like to sound racist but i think people who marry outside their races get better treatment than those who marry within their own race.
Do you know why? No wants to fool about in a "no comfort zone." Your man will treat you better than someone from your own race because people in your own race feel so comfortable with your parents and so the comfort extends how he treats you.
But there are some exceptions where some marriages within a race can last forever.

yes and and why would someone ask a question like that! LOVE isn't about race or culture. I'm thinking you're not to sure about this guy if you're questioning his color. My husband is white and I am an African woman and when we first met I never looked at the color of his skin and we're still married with three beautiful children. I hate to sound angry but today society is showing many bad images of African males, I agree some of them are uggh and others are ahh. So don't be afraid because of stereotypes not all of them are bad. I hope the guy u met is you're prince charming and if u think you're in love go for it. If u get any mean responses it's probally people taking offense to you're question. Good luck!

No. I have never fallen in love with an African man, but I do suppose that it would be pretty much the same as loving any other man.
Cultural differences between the two of you may lead to a difference in expectations as to what the relationship should be like. Be sure to discuss these beforehand. Is he muslim? Catholic? Does he practice voodoo? Is he a polygamist? Would you be his social equal? Where would the two of you live - in Africa or in your country? Take nothing for granted.
Good luck and God's richest blessings in your relationship.
