Possibly the reason he does this is to cover the "natural sound" of the process. This natural process sound is embarrassing for most people and in a public restroom, it is almost certain someone will be around to hear it.
If he is really in pain, that may be different but if he is making " cover noise" it's just embarrassment.
In either case, I dont think I would say anything as I would be embarrassed to do so and it probably wont set well with him either. If the noise is to cover embarrassment then pointing it out is kinda like telling everyone "Bill" has a big pimple on his chin.

I am really laughing at your descriptive question.
It's life, but you could take your break at a different time and if he changes to your time, then I would start to wonder about it.
You really rushed into the stall; I commend you on your concern for him.

hm mm he might have a Colan problem if it hurts that bad to go number 2 it might be blocked by something it could get serious if left unchecked suggest that he go see a doctor it nice that you care about someones biol movements lol hope this helps
