its depends on the year and history of the car and the mileage etc
remember the lower the mileage the higher the price and if a car is be sold for a low price check to see if it had been in any accidents. i have a honda civic 99 and its worth way under 5k

go to kbb.com and you'll see the worth of cars by years, condition, mileage, history, etc
