My fiance and I will not be including our parent's names on our invitations but do want to include our daughter's name.
Danielle
and
Edward
together with their daughter
Darcia
invite you to share with them
a celebration of love...
How does that sound?

That's very cute. I have to keep that in mind for my invitations. Good luck.

What a nice idea...especially if you are paying for the wedding. If the parents are involved financially, it might be wise to include them on the invitation, too.

My friend had her son and daughters name as those who actually invited people to the wedding. Such as emily and erik invite you to share...and thats how they did it...so either way it works out...and its a very cute idea. Thier invitation was return addressed as the kids name because they are the ones that are supporting their mom getting married. its cute

no thats not tacky at all. i was in a wedding once where the bride had a son from a previous marriage and they had twin girls together.. i believe it read
joyce and kenneth
along with their children
ryan, hanna and heather
invite you to ....
the way it was worded made it sound nice it's nice you want to include your daughter

That sounds perfect, and of course, there is no rule book saying that this would be wrong. It actually is pretty proper as far as etiquette goes since you are already a family.

That is ADORABLE....be sure to save one of the invitations for your daughter to keep forever. Wishing you and your family much happiness (the forever kind)
