Which is the best way to repell Mosquito apart from using creams lotions..... are there any effective electronic method which does not use harmful liquids....?

I tried ALLOUT, GoodKnight etc but no use. Also these are harmful when used throught the day. We use Mosquito net in the night.

The Problem is in the DAY.

The main purpose for Mosquito repellent is for my baby[6 Months old.] I am skeptical about creams, lotions and repellent liquids as they may cause skin problem to my baby. And also I feel that if licks his hands etc, he may get sick.

Cinnamon will repel them - in fact several parts of Asia have stopped crop dusting with chemicals (for safety of the crops, soil and people below) and have been crop dusting with this wonderful little all natural spice and it works. However, you're mistaken about frontline and other topicals for heart worm...you need a chewable tablet like Heart Guard, and it is not worth playing around with since there are little to no symptoms your dog has a heart worm(s) until there's coughing and it's too late. If you want, do both, cause if you don't live in a wooded area, it's also effective on fleas and ticks. Solid Gold makes an all natural cinnamon crunchy dog treat for exactly this purpose.

Mosquitos think I'm yummy, but the best natural product I've found so far is pure lavendar oil. Check it on your inner elbow to see if you are allergic (you'll get a red spot), but it's generally a very mild essential oil and safe for most people.

I put it on the pulse points of anywhere that might be exposed to mosquitoes -- behind my ears, my wrists and my ankles. Sometimes I spray it in my hair.

It's great if you get bitten by a mosquito, too -- if you apply it RIGHT away, it will soothe the swelling and itching.

The herb rosemary is a natural repellent. I have three rosemary bushes potted on the patio and I do not ever have issues with mosquitos. As far as keeping them off your skin, DEET is the only thing proven as guaranteed to repel mosquitos.

If you are against all the creams and lotions (that contain deet), You can always try "Skin so Soft." It doesnt leave a greasy feeling and seems to work pretty well.
