I think she's the most overrated sports talent in the world. She makes more in endorsements than winning tournaments and I think she's a spoiled brat.

Come on, she's just 17 or 18.

I think she and her handlers are shrewd business people. She has some talent but is no champion. She has made enough to retire on in endorsements alone. Hard to say what her endorsement of something is worth. By playing against the men she has been garnering support with women while her good looks make her attractive to men. It is shrewd because she doesn't even have to win just basically show up and she seems heroic.

It also hides the fact that she isn't a very consistent golfer and most other female golfers are better. By loosing to the men she is seen as some kind of ground breaker. Loosing to women just makes her a loser.

I don't follow golf closely, but it seems Michelle Wie never wins a tournament she enters. So why does she keep entering PGA tournaments?! Someone (I think it was another female athlete) made an excellent point about Michelle. They said she should seek to dominate the LPGA first ... if she's successful, it'd then make sense for her to enter PGA tournaments.

If Michelle were running roughshod over the world's top female golfers, like Roger Federer was ruling tennis before Rafael Nadal came along, I could understand her wanting a challenge. But she hasn't run roughshod over anyone! Could it be the huge--though unwarranted--endorsement deals?

Frankly if i was on the LPGA i would be pizzed off too. She has never won. She is not even a member of the LPGA, she can golf due to sponser exemptions, and she wants to play with the men. This is pretty much telling all the REAL LPGA golfers that she is too good for them and wants to "skip" where she should be. I say prove yourself like Annika did then and only then should she be allowed to even attempt to play with the men.

I live in Hawaii, and I still think she is worthless. Sure she could kick my butt in a round of Golg, but when she is acting like a spoiled little brat, it pisses me off to no end. I think people were heaping so much praise on her at first because she was playing with the men, and she was a *gasp* minority girl!

She's an overrated high school golfer. What she doesnt understand is that she can be replaced in a heart beat by any girl on a crappy high school team. She wants to play with the big boys but she can't even play with the little girls.

I think that she is really good for the LPGA tour, I think she brings more interest from fans and that she will have a great career. The only thing that I dont like is the way her father is pushing her. I also feel that she should give up on the mens tour and just concentrate on the LPGA.

First, she needs to sit out the golf tournaments until her wrist is healed. Second, she needs to play every LPGA tournament she can enter, and forget about exemptions to men's tournaments. Third, she needs to actually win a tournement.

I think she's a spoiled brat who is not that attractive. She has a tiny, upside-down mouth. She always looks like she is frowning. I might be too if I threaten to shoot 88 and then shoot 83.

Amen bud, I think she is not that talented and the media pays to much attention to her and I read an article where she has had 20 consecutive rounds over par.
