You are influenced by others. You are influenced by your own habits of thought... but don't let those things make you lose your own focus.

You are asking this question to be reminded to choose fun and laughter. A deep part of you does not want you to lose this.

The reason for your existence is your business and it unfolds through your own growth and joy.

P.S. lots of great answers here to meditate on !!!!

Part of having fun and laughing and living--especially living--is to understand the reason for our existence. It doesn't have to be unknown. But each person has to seek that out for herself/himself.

Good luck with your journey.

I don't attempt to find this unknown reason for our existence, because I know the reason for my existence is to have fun, and laugh and live.

If someone else happens to discover "it", I'll be glad to take a look see.

Oh No !!
On the other hand, you get firmly established in your REAL self, in full awareness, so comfortably that now you can be ever joyous, happy, and will manifest only AT WILL for others to even notice ! Your inner self is no more available to be tickled by others to snatch your fun, laughter & happiness, by meddling with some outside situation !

The reason for my existence is to learn, love, laugh, and cry.
If I live it, how am I forgetting it?

There's a great joke going around the internet about the translation of the Bible (please people, God gave us humor too!). It's a monk who's concerned that one word can change the whole meaning of the Bible. He convinces the Bishop to get out the original translation and the Bishop slaps himself on the head and says, "The word was CELEBRATE!" Seriously, people tend to mourn their faith and it makes me crazy! Be happy, have fun, and laugh. I don't think this world is here for us to mourn.

we all need a little fun and a laugh every now and again and we all do need to learn to live. I really think God would want that also, He doesn't want us to rake our brains out trying to do something that we can't do or try to understand or explain something that only He knows the answer too, think all He is really wanting is our faith and trust in Him our love in Him and our obedience in Him as well as our willingness..I needless to say agree with you

It's not unkown: It just takes sincere searching and real effort to find.

I don't know what you mean by "have fun and laugh and live" but wickedness nver was happiness.

It's very possible to do both... in fact, if you're really searching, you'll really have both.

" Forget to " touch life " ? Oh heavens no ! ! ! I'm very spiritual...yet I do p-l-a-y ! !....And, laugh...and LIVE ! !

I spend time with those dear in my life . . . we go for walks or sit around the pool / go in the spa and share conversation, view art, attend movies...plays...musicals, go to jazz music nights at the museum, participate in spiritual " drumming " sessions, go out for coffee together and share conversations and laugh at stories shared, go to vintage clothing stores, shop, have lunch out, indoor rock climbing (only once), explore old bookstores in old towns, wear pretty hats (not ball cap type), walk around an eclectic beach town, watch the fishermen bring in the early morning catch, walk the Golden Gate Bridge, take an excursion on a river " taxi ", attend mini lectures, share company and relax at each others homes, bike rides, sit out on an outcrop of rocks watching the ocean...the ocean spray hitting my bare feet, go to the salon to chat and get nails done, take spontaneous drives, discover new " hole-in-the-wall " breakfast places, take a tour of an organic farm, shop...try on fun new styles...have fun...laugh...and live ! I'm 50 . . . these experiences are fun to me.

I don't just wait for " life " to step over to " touch " me . . . I step out to touch life.
