Tea tree oil is best/shampoo withit in it[not sure how much is actuaully in it] Try after washing with that type of shampoo & conditioner rinse well then rinse your hair with"Witch Hazel"it,s an astringent like alcoho but does wonders for people with oily hair. You can leave it in..no need to rinse unless you are pressing/curling .l

I have super greasy hair and dandruff too. My scalp would itches so bad, gets build up of flakes, even breaks out in bumps if it gets bad. I got a shampoo from Wal-mart that is a store brand of a Neutrogena shampoo. It has a coal tar base but doesn't smell that bad. It really helps and calms my scalp down. It also gets my hair clean which I didn't think it would. You should try it. It was right above the Head and Shoulder and Selsun Blue in my Wal-mart. By the way, Head and Shoulders doesn't work. It leaves your hair very clean but does nothing for dandruff. They are actually marketing it now in the tv ads as for getting healthy, shiny hair but nothing about the scalp now.
Oh and look at the ingredients list on your shampoo. If Tea Tree Oil (Extract, ect) is not one of the first 3-5 ingredients it has very little tea tree oil in it. You also only need to use it on your scalp. There is no need to shampoo from your ears down unless you got mud or something in your hair. Condition the length.

well for the dandruff thing, don't use any shampoo, becuz they will damage more your hair. Use a natural shampoo or a baby shampoo. So for your dandruff when ever u wash your hair, put some plain yogurt on your hair and let dry for 30 minutes. If u wash your hair daily so do that thing every 2 days.

Well, you'll have to wash your hair everyday and don't ever try the mayo thingie! it's a very mean prank...!
Have you tried Head & Shoulders? it is pretty good for dandruff and it's a little dry too, and since you have really oily hair, I think it should be just what you need...
Or you should also try using baby powder to temporarily control the greasy hair.. So let's say you're going out and din't have enough time to wash your hair.. Apply baby powder onto the crown of your hair, not too much tho and then just pat to even the white powder all over your hair... It helps to remove the grease, at the same time make your hair smells good too!
But always check to make sure you dont have white patches on your hair...
Good Luck!

I use a good shampoo then after it's a bit dry side rinse it with vinegar, may sound crazy but it works. Dandruff is caused by a fungus type bug and the dandruff is dead skin and what's left over when the bug gets his fill. Don't use someone Else's comb. Don't get the vinegar in your eyes.

Take a shower every day and talk to your hair cutter or someone who does your hair and get tips. For some peoples hair it depends on the shampoo like on some bottles it says it is meant for fighting dandruff. Hope this helps

I used to use Head & Shoulders, but it caused my scalp to dry and hair to fall out some.
I now use Nuetrogena T/Gel daily control 2-in-1 Shampoo with conditioner.
Great stuff...works wonders with regular use. (and... no more hair clogging the drain!)
(Doesn't smell bad either.)

Head and Shoulders works well
It dries out your scalp and hair to make the dandruff go away but doesn't overdry.
