I would have to say, that as an Army 21W there would be fewer places you could work. Not all engineer units utilze MOS 21W.

Being a SeaBee it would seem reasonable that you could work in any SeaBee unit.

The bigger question IMO, did you score hig enough on the ASVAB that the Navy can gaurantee you SeaBee?

If the Army Doesn't have 21W available when you go to MEPS, are you willing to look at other 21 series MOSs?

These are the hard questions you need to be asking your Recruiters - Don't be afraid to tell one "no" and go take a look at the other service - this is the one time in your military career, however long it may be, that it IS all about YOU.

I wish you luck!

well id say marines just because i am one but out of those id say the army because it is tougher and more chalaging and i am a marine i am always up for a challenge! So thats what id go with! Also the navy pays better, has better living conditions, and has the lowest death rate among war!

without a doubt, SeaBee, they are bad @$$......nothing agaisnt the army but as a USMC Combat Engineer, i can tell you that the only ones that come close to us are the SeaBees, plus you might get stationed in coranodo California (one of the most perfect places in CONUS)......of course if you ask me you should be a USMC 1371!!!!! good luck

If you have any common sense, stay away from the Army.

Join Air Force or Navy.

Why don't you stay a civilian? Imagine when the guy comes to the door of your relatives to announce you are dead. Dead is an immoral, illegal war based on lies? If you have children who will raise them? How will your parents feel? Get an education and remain a civilian, live long and prosper.
