Does this seem logical?

A being that can do ANYTHING creates unique, individual pieces of itself (souls) and then sends these souls out to live in fragile, mortal shells to endure "trials" to prove their love for the creator (and to be loved BY the creator) for a period of a few seconds to a 100 years or so.

This all happens on a tiny, out of the way planet in an outer spiral arm of a garden variety galaxy that contains a hundred billion stars which have many more planets, and which is only one of millions of billions of other galaxies, stars and planets.

Oh, and out of all these trillions and trillions of worlds, he sends his only "son" here to "save us", even though he set the entire stage to begin with!

Why all the drama? If we are made from god in his image to be loved, why not save all the hassles and just love our perfect souls right from the get go?

Doesn't it make a lot more sense that this was all fabricated by a bunch of primitive ignorants as an effort to explain life?

Fine, IT. What difference does it make what you call an imaginary being?

Spirits aren't perfect.
According to Christianity, it's Jesus that makes you perfect.
It's by proxy.
Humans are no more perfect for accepting God into their lives, it's Jesus that's now in their lives that makes them perfect.

Being weak forces anyone and anything to depend on someone else for help.
If we were strong enough to stand on our own, we wouldn't need God.

And if you want to think of humans as weak and flawed, who are we to reason with a deity? The creation is not greater than the creator. How can we try to answer how or why? Trying would put God in a box, which is impossible in itself.

Of course, this is all figurative, since you think he doesn't actually exist.

TRUTH, or whatever it is that you call yourself, I have a better question, where in the world did you find this information? That is probably one of the most depressing descriptions of creation I've ever heard. Question number 2, before I answer question number one I would like to know if you are a follower of the doctrines of the Bible. Because if you're not, the 2 minutes I just spent talking to you have been wasted and I refuse to waste any more. If you are a follower, read Genesis and call me in the morning.
PLAY NICE!

As I look at a bunch of drunk ant's here who've been eating grapes that had been left out too many days, I dont reckon the Bible claims to be, or that life is, logical.

It's easy to believe science of course because by definition it is the collection of proven observations. Logic is a tool of science. But science doesnt talk about things it doesnt know. Humanities efforts to explain things it cannot measure isn't a bad thing to study - using observations of patterns against the tapestry of human experiance.

That's what faith is all about. If you don't believe that God did all of these things for a purpose then you have little faith. If you loved your soul as you say then you would have faith for then you would know that your soul would be better off. And for all of these worlds that are out there so far we're the only life so who else would he send his son to save? He didn't send him down just to have a big show, he sent him down to test our faith.

This is the way our bodies are made. We're not made into perfect robots. that would be boring. Besides when they invented us they probably lived like us and for the first 20 odd years so probably thought these bodies were absolutly great like we did. I think that theres alot of pressure in the world to be like so much better than what we are its getting harder and harder to keep up with times as they go by. I'm sure you'll find your answer its hard to think of all the things to go with it.

we don't have an immortal soul - Jesus mentioned to concern the guy who can wreck the two physique and soul interior the hearth. the Christian's physique places on immortality whilst Jesus returns. examine one million Corinthians 15.

God didn't make us robots, thank God! We are sentient, thinking, creative, loving creatures. Free to choose a life of eternity, imperishable and incorruptible. Man choose not to live in a perfect environment. Why? Selfishness, pride.

It sounds Christian to me. Try studying some other belief systems and paths, and you might discover a whole new perspective.

Think about sickness, suffering and pain. Now imagine there was no Bible or other "holy book" but there was proof that a god exist. Be honest with yourself, what kind of person would you think this god was?
