you are there ready to place your food order and these two folks that are together are still yaking on both of their cell phones and the folks that work in the food place are waiting and waiting for an order ...do u go ahead of them? Or wait ? Or what would U do?

I would step forward and say, "If you're too busy talking to order, please let some others go ahead". I have actually been in this situation and the guy got all disgruntled but he got off the phone and ordered.

This is one of the few situations where I would meet rudeness (not only to the other customers but to the poor server/cashier who has to try to be patient) with rudeness.
I would speak rather loudly, to the point where even the person on the phone could hear, "If you're going to be rude enough to hold up progress, for a call that is obviously not an emergency as you're still standing here and waiting to get food just like the rest of us, step aside and let it move on without you. Your position has been usurped, come back when you learn manners and how to focus on the objective at hand, thank you." I would then proceed to order.
Lucky for any potential "victim" of my acerbic delivery, while I have heard my sister going through this, as a cashier when she was trying to do her job, I have yet to run into this personally.

Frankly, I'd walk up to them and yank their cell phones out of their ear and toss it in the nearest water or tea pitcher. And after have been a server for the last 7 yrs of my life I have had incidences of people at the tables I was serving looking at me like I"m nuts while there trying to get their order and them yakking away.... and if I wasn't there within seconds of them sitting down I'd get yelled at by management... hmmmmmm and I bet these same folks are the same ones yakking away while driving their vehicles and run red lights and stop signs and cross lanes illegally causing innocent people to die in car accidents!! It is a nasty world we live in this age of the self egotistical maniacs... and I have only added all this as I really do hate these people and hope they all get sent to an island that their phones do not get a signal!!!

I would tell them To go outside because their personal lives do not impress me & I am very hungry.
I would go ahead of them! They are very rude & self important.
