Wow, I didn't know anything took hair dye off of the skin.

Let me tell you all a story!

About 4 years ago, my twin brother decided it was a great idea to dye his hair black. Of course I jumped on this idea and told him I would do it.

Keep in mind we are fair skinned and blond.

Well we start and I have never done this before. I basically get his hair black, it sits and then it is rinse time.

He washes his hair and comes out of the bathroom with what looks to be a black football helmet on his head. He gets closer and it isn't a helmet but his black hair and his black skull! I had rubbed that stuff in REAL good (not knowing what I was doing) and it looked bizarre!!!
We tried everything to get that to come out..but for at least a month, he walked around wearing that football helmet. haha

That is was crazy!

haha

Oh yeah, he had some dye on his lower forehead that I rubbed off...and gave him a nice burn! ERRRR

I dont know what removes it, but I know that if you want to prevent it from happening, you can just put a little cream around your hairline. Don't rub it in, just enough where you can still see it. This will prevent the dye from staining your skin. (For next time)!

Try hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball to wipe it off your skin. That works best when the stain is fresh.

I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it worked like a charm! Just don't be stupid like me and rub too hard.

shampoo always helps. i recently died my blonde hair redish brown and had massive spotting on my neck. i put some shampoo on a washcloth and scrubbed for about 15 seconds. it came right off.
