as what garfield 526 said...

In MRI, you have two types of ligment of the atomic orbits, of hydrogen containing material inside of your body....The first aligns the orbits of the atoms, parallel to the magnetic powerful field (2-3- Tesla units). and THAT is T1, where you can see water as a dark substance ,,,,,
The second, is the alignment of the orbits PERPENDICULAR to the magnetic field, so that you can detect other type of lesions, because water is seen in white color....
T2 signals can mean anything....from absolutely nothing (we dont know the size of the bright spots in your brainstem or grain) r¿to very serous disease, such as multiple sclerosis...However, nothing can be definitively conclude, because a single piece of information, does not help a proper doctor, to interpoleation as to significance of those bright signals,,,,,,is not a proper and complete report,
Any opinion given solely on the basis you provide here, will be alarming and false....by the way, did you receive gadolinium contrast??? you dont tell that in your info..
especially if you make them on the web (you will end up by being healthy or sick, by public polling).......and that is a gross mistake...
Only a proper neuroradiologist can tell you what those "bright spots" or high intensity signals really mean....
What does that signify???? without the rest of the information, or without the images proper, we will only be guessing...with the info you provide us, its impossible to do another thing...
Take the opinion af a proper neuroradiologist...that will save you anxiety and uncertainty...........
