The world cannot be taken over by military force. At least not visible military force. People cannot host uprisings against powers they do not know exist, let alone control them. That does not mean you cannot posses military forces, they just have to be unseen (i.e. nobody lives to tell about them).

We are already half-way to developing the technology to make high-tech super-soldiers. The new proposed US Army uniform, though decades from mass distribution, is almost ready.

The uniform is encased in a liquid armor shell which allows for freedom of movement (unlike the bulky body armor plates issued to soldiers on today's battle field) while also protecting its wearer from bullets and flack debris alike. How? The liquid armor is an extremely viscous fluid that, at normal speeds, can move about freely. However, when a bullet or other object, strikes the armor at super-sonic speeds, the molecules in the armor cannot move out of the way fast enough, so they harden together almost instantly.

The uniform also comes complete with a full-head helmet equiped with built-in night vision, combat radio, 360 degree panoramic view, the ability to access maps, actively plot friendly forces' locations on those maps, and even access the cameras on your battle-buddy's helmets to see what he/she sees. The images are projected onto a treated visor that is bullet-proof (to a degree) and does not fog up. The visor can also be opened to allow fresh air into the suit (even though the suit comes equiped with climate control and air is filtered in).

The suit also has automatic detectors for nuclear, biological, and chemical agents. If the detectors are triggered, the visor automatically closes, and the filter is able to keep these toxins out. The suit also does its wearer the favor of injecting him/her with the antidote (probably just atropine) in this case.

Sound attractive yet? That's not all. The suits legs also have built-in augmenters that allow its user to lift up to three or four times his/her body weight feeling only the weight of their own body.

"So where do I get mine?" you may ask... Wait, there's more. Combining the technology of closed-circuit cameras and fiber-optics, the suit also has the gift of invisibility. It does this by projecting the image from behind to the front and visa versa. Of course, the suit is not copletely invisible, but it's similar to the invisibility suit worn in Predator with Arnold Schwarzeneger.

This, to me folks, seems to be the makings of a scary fighting force. However, military isn't everything.

"Control the media - control the mind." Get the stories streaming into each family television to benefit you. Similar to the movie V for Vendetta, the controlling force should manifest it's own stories for the public ears/eyes.

i would luanche stratigic nuclear strikes on all the major population centers of the world followed by smaller tactical nuke strikes on all the military instaliations in the world then ud have to land a sieziable force probly somwhere were theres som open grounds so u could run ur tanks to the floor and do some seious bypassing also id try to insert light infantry (paratroopers air assalt) into key ports towns ect. maybe use some special opps to seize key airfeilds but it still probly wouldnt do it. not unless u possesed some key tecnology and some new doctorine to exploit it (i.e the tank the germans and blitzkrieg, or the mongols with there bows annd horsmanship of the golden horde ect ect.) so come up with a solid exo skeliton so we can drop caps troopers from space and maybe then we can get it done

Well for starters you would need a much larger military force and it would be impossible to do it with freedom of the press. If you were to attempt to do so you should start with conquering or destroying the smaller nations with a military first. since i see china as the most powerful enemy i would have to face i would try to keep them out of the war as long as possible. although risky i would demand the remaining soldiers from the nations i already conquered either join me or die. rules of engagement would be to shoot first ask question later. it would not matter about them being armed or not. although it is messed up no humanitarian aid would be provided to the nations i already defeated until sucess is mine. hopefully intergrating conquered nations military into my own will give me the strength to beat the strongest nations in the world. it would be an ugly point in the nations history but the benifets would far outweigh it.

A great start would be to infiltrate the countries and destroy their infrastructure from the inside out without any show of force. How many foreign countries have McDonalds?

can't with force we have today.
military would have to be several times larger than what we have, in the millions, and that is just combat troops for the Army.

so no, impossible as things are today.

also why would you want to? you would have to become the global "daddy" for eveyone, take care of their every need, etc.
it is not worth it!
