Sorry this is going to be so long, but I am showing reason on your answer...
I don't think there is anything in the Bible about going to Hell either... not a burning hell anyway. The Lazarus & Rich Man story in the Bible was just that: a STORY... a PARABLE,
The rich man represents the religious leaders who are favored with spiritual privileges and opportunities, and Lazarus pictures the common people who hunger for spiritual nourishment. Jesus continues his story, describing a dramatic change in the men’s circumstances. Since the rich man and Lazarus are not literal persons but symbolize classes of people, logically their deaths are also symbolic.
God’s fiery judgment messages proclaimed by Jesus’ disciples are what torment individuals of the rich-man class. They want the disciples to let up on declaring these messages, thus providing them some measure of relief from their torments.
Jesus spent 3 days in Sheol or hell... He had no sin...
So, therefore, hell, sheol, hades are all referring to the common grave of mankind. Not a burning place.
Gehenna was a burning trash heap, that they kept burning 24/7 back then. That is where they threw criminals bodies & others that did not deserve a burial. That is how all this hell business got so twisted. Never is it mentioned in the Bible that anyone would go there for a punishment. Everlasting destruction talked about in Revelation means they would never return from that destruction. If a paper is destroyed in a fire, you will not recover that certain piece of paper, right? It was destroyed, gone, caput, etc.
The wages sin pays is death...Romans 6:23.
Why would a loving God (1 John 4:8) punish already sinful humans FOREVER for the measly little bit of time they were/are on the earth? That does not sound just to me...
God's supreme attributes are: LOVE, JUSTICE, POWER & WISDOM... not hate, injustice, weak & foolishness....
See what I mean?!
When we die, we are conscience of nothing at all- we know nothing, we feel nothing.
Ecclesiastes 9:5- For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.
So, the easy answer is, the 2nd chance is the RESURRECTION that Jesus talked about at John 5: 28 & 29 -Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
If you die, you can await a wonderful resurrection into a Paradise here on Earth. Psalms says the Meek will inherit the Earth. That has not happened yet, so it is a prophecy we anxiously await. (Psalms 37 9-11)
Ok, I'll stop... but I hate to see people scared of dying & not knowing what is going to happen when they die...

St. Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, or in hell. Nothing about second chances. You have the life span given you on earth to find and make a decision about Jesus. In fact, its the only reason for this life. NOTHING else matters
We spend no more than 70-80 years here, and the rest in eternity in heaven or in hell. Choose wisely.

You're right, it's not in the Bible. Once it's over, it's over. I'm sure that sounds harsh, just thinking about it now, it sounds like it to my ears, but it's over. Whereever you end up is where you end up. God wants you to take it by faith.
Are you married? If you are, do you remember what it felt like right before you made that decision? (If not, just go with me.) Sometimes a person is seriously afraid of if they're making the right decision. However, they remember the love they have for the one they're about to marry. It compels them with the most earnest determination to just go with it and see how the future ends up.
What does this have to do with anything? I believe it's the same with a person and God. You don't know if He is truly real and if you should be following him in the first place, but if you allow yourself to love Him with your whole heart, you'll commit yourself to Him.
(Of course, on this world, you get a second chance in marriage with divorce, but if you trying to stay true to your vows, there is no second chance.)
Hope that helps.

NO, once in hell, always in hell. Same goes for Heaven. God gives us everyday mores chances to repent and be baptised while we are alive on earth.

Jesus told this story... it shows there is no second chance - nor relief once there:
Luke 16:19 "There was once a rich man who dressed in the most expensive clothes and lived in great luxury every day.
Luke 16:20 There was also a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who used to be brought to the rich man's door,
Luke 16:21 hoping to eat the bits of food that fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs would come and lick his sores.
Luke 16:22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to sit beside Abraham at the feast in heaven. The rich man died and was buried,
Luke 16:23 and in Hades, where he was in great pain, he looked up and saw Abraham, far away, with Lazarus at his side.
Luke 16:24 So he called out, 'Father Abraham! Take pity on me, and send Lazarus to dip his finger in some water and cool off my tongue, because I am in great pain in this fire!'
Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, 'Remember, my son, that in your lifetime you were given all the good things, while Lazarus got all the bad things. But now he is enjoying himself here, while you are in pain.
Luke 16:26 Besides all that, there is a deep pit lying between us, so that those who want to cross over from here to you cannot do so, nor can anyone cross over to us from where you are.'
Luke 16:27 The rich man said, 'Then I beg you, father Abraham, send Lazarus to my father's house,
Luke 16:28 where I have five brothers. Let him go and warn them so that they, at least, will not come to this place of pain.'
Luke 16:29 Abraham said, 'Your brothers have Moses and the prophets to warn them; your brothers should listen to what they say.'
Luke 16:30 The rich man answered, 'That is not enough, father Abraham! But if someone were to rise from death and go to them, then they would turn from their sins.'
Luke 16:31 But Abraham said, 'If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone were to rise from death.' "
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is no second chance AFTER death - but there is time to correct ourselves BEFORE death.
He compared Himself to the vine - and us as the branches - and God the Father as the Vinyard owner.
John 15:5 "I am the vine, and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me.
John 15:6 Those who do not remain in me are thrown out like a branch and dry up; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, where they are burned.
Jesus told this parable as an example of the fact that He gives us time before the end:
Luke 13:6 Then Jesus told them this parable: "There was once a man who had a fig tree growing in his vineyard. He went looking for figs on it but found none.
Luke 13:7 So he said to his gardener, 'Look, for three years I have been coming here looking for figs on this fig tree, and I haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it go on using up the soil?'
Luke 13:8 But the gardener answered, 'Leave it alone, sir, just one more year; I will dig around it and put in some fertilizer.
Luke 13:9 Then if the tree bears figs next year, so much the better; if not, then you can have it cut down.' "
I hope this helps. Peace.
You are making a grand assumption that there's even a hell in existance. I think hell is on earth. That's just my opinion.
To answer your question--assuming hell exists in the context you believe it does...NO. There are no second chances. You do not get time off for good behavior--you are in HELL, so you are there forEVER. That's what I hear anyway.
No second chances. Once you are there, it is for eternity.
Jesus affirmed that the wicked "will go away to ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous to ETERNAL life" (Mat 25:46)
