No honey.....what is weird is this question...lol. Why would you even think it would be weird to like someone with the same name as your brother? A name is just a name. Some have significant meaning for the person and some are just what their parents liked. Would it be weird for me to be friends with someone who has the same name as me? No not at all. Date the guy and get over it.
If you are only 14 you should only like this guy. You should wait to date until your at least 16. You are young and have allot of life ahead of you. Please don't try and rush into dating and relationships. There is usually allot of heartache that comes along with dating. Boys (and Men) can be cruel.

I don't think so. One of my close friends is married to a guy who has the same name as her brother, and our circle of friends don't even think twice about it.
I guess its only weird if you think its weird.
