First of all, I am about 70 lbs overweight, so please, I know, I know...I need to and am in the process of losing weight. So be kind!
Every day my feet are in agony, and it is not like pain of my extra weight, it is like sharp, aching pain and very hard to explain. My calves now also hurt most of the time. It feels as though I would die to just have someone massage the pain and tension out of the calves and feet.
Someone once thought it could be high triglycerides.
I would like some suggestions as to what this pain is, besides the weight, because I do understand that.
I feel it is caused from something else...like diet pop or sugar or something.
Any advise greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
And oh, the pain is so bad, as much as I WANT to walk, it makes it unbearable most of the time. So I am in i viscious cycle because I love to walk, so please help!

It sounds like it could be a deficiency problem. A doctor should be able to recgonize the symptoms.
Do you have diabetes? that sould suggest poor blood flow in the feet and calves.
You should see a doctor before the problem progresses to a more dangerous stage.

Hi, I know what your going through. I have the same pain & it sound just like what I have. I'll tell you I'm not over weight because I'm 5"2 1/2 tall & my weight is 115lb. I went to the dr out here in Rapid City, my doc took ex-rays of my back it was not good then sent me to a Neurosurgeren & he sent me to Physical therapy. I had therapy in water, that just made it worse, went 6 time & I stoped that. My boy friend made me go to a Chiropractor. He made the call & drove me there. I have never been to one in my life & I must say, it scaird the SSSS out of me. But he talked to me until he got me to settle down, then he did his magic on me ! He is helping me so much, I can walk again, still not as far but it's better then I was doing, the cramping in the legs & feet are almost gone, the numbness in my toes gone when I walk :) I've only been going for a week & he has done all this without surgery ! What did I have ? Well the Neurosurgeren had a MRI done on me & the findings was, at L4-5, there is mild dehtdration of the disk. This impresses on the anterior aspect of the thecal sac & appears to be causing minimal impingement on the traversing right L5 nerve root. I'm not saying this is what you have but it sound like what I have. Go get ex-rays & a MRI also go see a Chiropractor & take your ex-ray & MRI with you so he can see for himself what's going on.
I hoped I helped some :)
"PLEASE GO GET EX-RAYS or A MRI"..
Sometimes the Chiropractor can take the ex-rays too if they have one..
PS Do not use heat, ice is the best, when there is
swelling in the back. You can only use heat if there is not. I can bet if your hurting like I think you are, then there is swelling, ice...
This is what my Chiropractor & my Neurosurgen, & my Physical Therapy told me..
Hoped I helped :)

Any chance that you may be diabetic?
Also, I get sore legs and cramps sometimes when I don't take in enough calcium.
There could be so many causes, you really need your doctor to ask the appropriate questions and help you find a solution. I know that with sore legs your exercising will be limited which will not help with weight loss.
Any chance of doing some light stretching and leg exercises?
Good luck with resolving this.

visit a medical physican.
the pains can be from diabetes, deep vien thrombosis(serious deadly), cramps (vitamin/mineral deficency), even lack of water. get something done b4 u get a ride to emergency center.
the water thing is a balance is needed in even heavy people. the numbers are like this 1/2 (ur lbs of weight) in ounces plus 10 oz drink daily. do not try the first day only work up to that level. adjust down ward as the fat reduces. this will allow ur body to stop any water retention and reduce water in 'fat cells'. worked great for me and others in our group.

I can only tell you from my own experience. I have fibromyalgia,a chronic pain condition . Its symptoms include pain in the muscles. In my case sugar increases my pain levels. That's because my body doesn't handle sugar correctly. When I cut sugar out of my diet my pain lessened. I also cut carbonated drinks out of my diet because they aren't any good for anyone.
My suggestion to you is, if you believe that sugar and carbonated drinks are part of your problem , then just give them up and see if you feel better. Your body is trying to tell you something, its up to you to listen to it.
Good luck! You can do it and it will help you with the weight loss also.

If you are wearing high heels, quit. Go to a podiatrist, not a chiropractor, and get some arch supports.
If that doesn't help, then try a chiropractor.

You need to see a Podiatrist. They can help you with proper shoes. Even people who do not have weight problems have foot trouble.
