Why in the religious section?
Anyway, I can relate when it comes to that feeling of wanting to crawl out of your skin with Tylenol PM! I thought I was crazy. I think it's something in the PM part (pseudo-ephedrine really does that to me). Do you have or have you been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue & Immune Dysfunction Syndrome? Many times people with CFIDS are too sensitive to drugs for most of them to help.
I have to sleep on a heating pad most nights for me to sleep. A Cuddle-Ewe matress also helps. I know this sounds out there, but keeping a healthy colon by drinking or eating live culture yogurt helps. Also drinking plenty of fluids during the day (be sure you finish about 2 hrs. before you go to bed though). The only drugs I tolerate well are plain Tylenol, Aleve (luckily Nexium as I also have tendency toward stomach ulcers)-if I'm in pain I take (2 Ty+ 2 Al + 1 Nexium).
Anyway, hope that helps.

Yes I sleep well. After 10 years of meditating I just turn my mind off. Start meditating and you will get good at it too. I call that feeling the Tylenol PM gives you 'the willies'. I hate it!

Gotta have that chocolate milk fix every night before bed. It makes me sleepy. Most of the time, I fall asleep rapidly. If I have something troubling me, I watch T.V. to distract my mind and will put my worries aside. Ask yourself, "Am I accomplishing anything by rehashing this (insert what's bothering you) over and over?" The answer is almost always "no".

Lay down in bed with a book. Read the book, laying down, and your eyes have to sort of almost point down to read a book that way, which will eventually make your eyes heavy and you'll fall asleep.

I have battled sleep issues all my life. I have found out several things. We cannot have stress in our life or it will affect our sleep. and if we stay in stressful situations long enuff, it can actually change our brain chemicals> and our brains no longer make the natural substances of serazone. The first thing to do is to learn to not start a lot of things at night several hours before you go to bed. Learn to calm down and start unwinding from the day. cut off anything with caffeine early, several hours before bedtime. Sip some herbal teas, or drink some warn milk. And simply put, as much as is possible, remove the stressers from your life. It can mean changing a job, and many other things. But if you allow stress in your life all the time at a constant, it will really mess with the checmicals. Serazone helps you to relax and go to sleep. It is not a sleeping pill, but it helps your brain to make its own sleep chemicals. I did all I could do and still I couldnt sleep. I ended up at the doctor and found out I had post traumatic stress disorder from a lifetime of abuse, and I just couldnt sleep anymore, no matter how tired i was. I am not someone that takes medicine, But I found that I had to take this to be able to sleep at all. and, I did learn to remove the stressors in my life. In my case, that meant a divorce. I am a Christian and I know God doesnt want divirce. But, even worse God doesnt want us to be in relatinships that dont bring us joy and peace, like He so longlily and early gives to us. Si if you try all the obvious steps you can take, and you still dont sleep, talk to your doctor. Even depression can lead to either sleeping al the time, or not sleeping. Learn to watch calming shows and listen to calming music, or read a relaxing book as you are unwinding at night, its a huge help for most ppl. Even something like a violent tv show can make you nervous enuff to have to battle to unwind to sleep. But, if you try it all and get no results, see a doc and find out why. It is possible you have a sleep disorder of some kind. But, try the other things first. For most, its all you need. I pray this works for you. God bless you. OOOOOH, and yes, remember to pray too, pray and ask GOD for rest, for sleep. It helps a lot. I still will struggle sometimes, but with prayer, I do go to sleep. Taking a medication like that that your brain needs, is no more different than someone taking a med for diabetes. God understands it, and you have no reason to feel guilt if you do need help. God is the one that trains our doctors too. Remember that one. God bless you. May you find restful, blissful true sleep in the Lord. WE need it daily to get thru all we go thru in this world. Seek and ye shall find.

When I have difficulty falling and staying asleep at night - First, I make sure that I pray before going to sleep, casting all my anxieties upon Jesus - for He says He loves and takes care of me. And He said come unto Me all who labor and are of heavy-laden and I will give you rest. {Matt. 11:28-30. *Then I take one 3 mg. Melatonin and within 20 - 30 min. my body and mind are quite relaxed and I sleep well throughout the entire evening. *If you do not care to swallow a pill, at GNC they do have a 1 mg.sub-lingual {goes under the tongue).
*Thanks for your Question. *Take Care.

I have a lot of physical pain that keeps me up - so I spend a little time on positive things - like Scripture...
(Proverbs 3:24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.)
Then a little mindless stuff - like a solitaire game - nothing involved or too exciting like most video games.
Then I take an herbal supplement: Melatonin 1mg. and make my room dark. I might drink Peppermint or chamomile tea... they have muscle relaxing properties.
I watch a sitcom or two on TV- no news or drama - and then put soft classical music on my stereo - and go to bed.
I prefer a little classical guitar - Baroque music.
It a pattern of winding down that I have repeated so that my brain begins detoxing out of habit.
When my mind gets hung up with thought I just pray out all my feelings and thoughts to God. If I dwell on my own scenarios - I just get angry or worried and more awake.
Turning things over to God just helps me let go and drift off to sleep.
Peace - and may your sleep be sweet tonight dear one.

I have the same problem. It is miserable. I'm being treated by a doctor for this. So I pray, read the Bible and eventually will fall to sleep.
Good luck to you.
