Girl get over it and let him go. You cannot love him too much if he likes you best friend. If your best friend responds to him then she is not a friend.Sometimes we have to let go of the person that we think we love find find love that we deserve and you deserve someone that is going to love you for you ad not go after our friend. For you to love him like you must no love yourself enough to know that he doesn't want you anytime he is going after your friend. Obviously he does not know want a friend and person he has lost sooner or later he will realize that and will come running back. Take your time at finding true love it will come to you when your ready to accept and love yourself. Watch your friend if she goes behind your back to see him then you dump her as a friend. True friends don't go after friends exes.

he probely just says he likes your best friend because he wants to make you jealous and that's why he's flirting with you. You should start flirting with him and if he flirts even more, then you'll know he likes you.
