we have been going out for a little over a month, and i say it to her, and she doesn't always say it back, so I ask her why, and she usual says that she doesn't know why, then she says it back, but I know that she realy loves me, cause it's just one of those things.

Ask her to. Communication is a major part in a good relationship.

guess the problem is the different ways of value (love) expression.

you want to hear her "iloveyou" words often? or you don't feel she doesn't love you?

1.some people express value with words and thus want to receive it that way.

2.for some, they express value by gifts (and expect it too that way)

3.others they're just quiet (but they always make sure their partner could feel the love by hugs, kisses, touch, and most of all quality time)

4.while the rest express it by service and thus expect to be served too by their loved ones.

so figure out how she expresses her love to you coz she might be wondering just like you :)

my boyfriend is the words type of a person, (always sayin iloveu, and always wanting to hear from me) while am the quiet type, not saying anything but i will always long for a quality time together:) well, we're together for more than 5 years now. just a matter of giving and taking. adjustment. that's love.

I wasn't raised in a family that expressed their love with words, so it's weird for me to say it to my husband. My husband complained to me about this for years. I've been with him over 23 years and put up with a lot of his crap. That should tell him something. It makes me angry for him to try to get me to say something that doesn't come naturally. It would make me feel like a robot. So, leave her alone. Don't force it. Look at her actions. Remember the old saying, actions speak louder than words? It's true. I'm sure she's doing her best.

I would definitely not ask her to say it more.. that might make her feel weird.

My answer is this-- tell her you love her more often!

If you told her like 15 times a day.. I bet you any money she would start telling you just as often.

some people do not say "i love you" as much as other people. Your girlfriend may love you a whole lot but just doesn't say it as much as you do. She may show you she loves you in other ways. I think people that come from families that didn't say i love you or hug and kiss, they continue that when their older and in relationships.........make sense??? I hope so.......that's how i honestly feel

Some women are complicated but, I think you should just do the little things that mean the most to her, even if it means doing something you don't want to do.

Stop bring up the love word. Dont mention it.

Sometimes reverse psycology works very well.

try it.
